Daryl Henry Weitlauf, 64, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:34 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at his home. Daryl was born in Paducah on November 9, 1953, to Willard and Ruth Weitlauf. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed raising flowers, being well known throughout the area for his beautiful flower gardens. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband and loving father. Mr. Weitlauf is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kelly Watkins Weitlauf, of Paducah; his daughters, Christi Knoth and husband Travis, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, Brianna Weitlauf, of Paducah; his son, Brent Weitlauf and wife Tannette, of Benton, Kentucky; his brothers, Willard Weitlauf Jr. and wife Diane, of Louisville, Kentucky, Phil Weitlauf and wife Tammy, of Paducah, Wendel Weitlauf and wife Lori, of Fulton, Kentucky, Kevin Weitlauf and wife Kim, of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kheilenn Weitlauf, Brent Weitlauf, Jr., Peyton Weitlauf. Mr. Weitlauf was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Andrew Weitlauf and Ruth Margaret Fields Weitlauf. A funeral mass is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follw at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30-7:00 p.m., with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
