so I read about your interview with WotC, can you explain how your deck based on Sorrow's Path works? was it actually "good"?
It was more a Johnny deck than a Spike deck. "I beat you with Sorrow's Path" was super Johnny.

alignment languages aren't full languages, though, just a limited set of vocabulary that allows intelligent beings capable of speech to confirm they have the same alignment. so it's really more like a lingo or jargon you magically know for some reason (also speaking an alignment language in public is a faux pas???)

wait, if land cards get tapped more often than any other kind of card, wouldn't that make them more likely to be made in landscape orientation? you'd get more opportunities to see the card in the correct orientation (this is assuming they'd still be placed vertically when untapped).
Having lands always tap the same orientation makes it much easier to tell when they're tapped.
