Streaming app recs?

Hey Tumblr folk, Pandora’s phone app has been shitting the bed for the last month straight and is basically unusable. I contacted them a couple weeks ago asking about it and the last I heard was ‘we’ll totally tell our engineers’... 2 weeks ago.  I’m cancelling my subscription and looking for a better streaming service to play from my phone instead. I see lists of good apps to use go by now and then, but I don’t recall if I’ve ever seen one for music streaming. Does anyone have suggestions for good streaming services that are either free or inexpensive? (I was paying about $5 a month for Pandora) and aren’t directly tied to any shady right-wing bullshit?

I was cutting onions this afternoon when my brother walked into the kitchen where seconds before a Taylor Swift song happened to start playing on my pandora radio app (directly after a string of hardrock so wtf), anyway, The onion had me crying, giant baby tears, but I also have a cold so I was not just crying, I was sniffling too and the scene which my brother walked into had him thinking that I had been so deeply moved by the song that was playing that I was ugly crying. So he walked over and hugged me and told me it would be ok,
