“You’d think the education system hated us, the way they insist on summer exams,” Clem commented, more mildly than she felt about the situation— the sun and the joint she was smoking had made her too hazy to bother with much emphasis. She ought to be revising, but after what felt like a longer than usual winter and spring - for more than one reason - it was difficult to stuff herself away in the corner of the library and work.
