Hello Pangkey nation!
Do you yearn for Pangkey content? Because I sure do! Heavily inspired by the very successful Valentine's and Christmas weeks we've had in the past, I'd like to propose another summery Pangkey fanwork week for Pride month!
WHEN: June 22nd - 28th
WHAT: Any fanwork about Pangkey - Pangi and Lukey - RPF or in character, themed around Summer and/or Pride. Romantic? Cute? Platonic? Toxic? Yuri? Doomed? Something else? You decide!
And by 'any fanwork' I mean anything - if it's by fans, for fans, it counts!
As June 22nd isn't so far away, if you're worried you won't be able to contribute anything 'good enough', just know one of the things I'm planning to make is MS Paint collages (like my beautiful banner - graphic design is my passion).

Pankey fic event, let's go, hi guys.
Seaside

Lukey has been sitting hunched over the desk in his lab practically since the moment he woke up, a series of test tubes the size of his finger lined up in front of him, concoctions and samples in each one for him to observe through the thin lenses of protective glasses just in case.
There was a handful of knocks on the other side of the door then, and Lukey hummed loud enough in permission for them to come in without looking up.
"Lucas Osbourne."
Oh what a surprise.
"Pangi Pangolin."
"Whatcha doing, man?"
"Working."
"On?"
He could almost hear Pangi wave a hand behind him as a sign to continue.
"Important things. Trying to figure out more about the corruption. The usual."
"Right."
"Mhm."
Lukey knew he didn't *leave*, he hadn't heard the teliporter hum or the door open and shut, Pangi just wasn't saying anything, which was fine by him, more opportunity to focus.
"So, Lukey."
Never mind.
"When was the last time you took a break from all of this?"
"Wasn't that long ago."
"Uh huh. And how long ago is 'not that long ago' exactly?"
He paused for exactly one and a half seconds, exactly long enough for Lukey to practically hear Pangi nod his head behind him, then sigh.
"Right, well, you're taking one now. We're both taking one, actually, whether you like it or not. Okay?"
And just as he finished taking off the safety glasses and set then on the desk.
"Wait, what are-"
Pangi held onto the sleeve around his bicep and the sharestone hummed before he could finish the sentence.
When the purple faded from his vision, the two of them were standing on the shoreline between sand and water.
"You know, you could've just asked if I wanted to come with you, or told me more about it before you brought me, not kidnapped me."
"And would you have taken a break and come if I hadn't?"
Pangi dropped the fabric and stepped to the side.
"...Alright, well, you still could've told me where we were going at least."
"Sure man, well, here we are."
He put his arms out and motioned to the area around them, showing off the landscape mostly of sand and the lake beside them.
"We're at a beach."
"Yeah, I can see that, why though."
"Nice day, hot outside, you needed a break, this was a good place to take one, put two and two together, Lucas."
"Fair enough."
Lukey sat on the sand in acceptance, brought up an arm and swiped the sweat that had gathered in the minutes they've been outside, closing his eyes and tilting his face up slightly and basking despite the heat, when a wave of water splashed the back of his coat and part of the back of his head.
"Dude, what-!"
Pangi was shaking off his hand when Lukey opened his eyes.
"Now you have to stop being a dumbass and take that thing off so it's a little cooler."
"Fuck you, dude."
He acted faux annoyed and took off his lab coat and set it to the side, leaving him in Jeans and a black tee shirt.
"Better?"
Lukey brought his arms back and braced them on the sand, leaning as he sat, exhaling, Pangi smirked as he swiped his forehead.
"Yeah."
"Good."
He put his hand in the lake again and swiped it sideways so Lukey got splashed again.
"Dude!"
"That's for being a hamster and refusing to take a break."
"I'm taking one now!"
"Cause I'm making you."
"Alright, that's it."
Lukey sat on his knees and tackled Pangi, knocking him on his back in the ankle high section of water, arms bracing on either side over him, trying to stifle a burst of giggles.
"That's how it's gonna be?"
"Maybe."
And Pangi flipped their positions, bracing and sitting above him with lightly dripping hair and faces inches apart.
"Mhm, about that."
