Initial layouts. I was going for this cursed undead king who is unwilling to die except by the one chosen sword. I originally wanted to have all these melted and charred swords strewn beneath him showing the swords that couldn't kill him but ended up going with skulls once we cropped in the image:

We adjusted the focus of the last one and then I did a quick sketch and colour mock-up:

The sword was inspired by this dagger "with Zoomorphic Hilt" (https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/457730)

Today Maxggs did a stream where he was trying to name 100 gay people before the timer hit one hour. He put pangi and lukey on that list multiple times but the first time he did it derapchu was in chat. And you know how derapchu is about pangkey. Theres multiple clips of him calling them gay and saying that he genuinely thinks they're gay and such. But this time he went and called them straight?? Derapchus never done that before. It may be nothing but it did make me go 👀

So, i guess our options are 1) he was just making shit up for fun those times he told us about stuff he supposedly saw them doing 2) he was saying the truth but decided to change his tune because outing your friends without their consent isnt cool actually 3) he did see some gay shit but he’s still confused and unsure as to what it means as we all are??? 4) Or they were like noooooo Derap we’re just two very good friends who like to cuddle half naked in bed it doesnt mean anything and he had to be like dalright ig (as like, a mix of 2 &3)

And, oh, actually I just had a new thought based on that thing he said last year about how Pangi could kiss any man (shoutout to My Fic lmao) but with Lukey it would be different… which i guess implies that he thinks it’s something special to them but they (or maybe just Pangi) are actually straight… but are like, gay for each other i guess? So maybe in his mind they wouldn’t qualify to be on a list about actually/officially gay people.
