Pani puri recipe

Certainly! Here’s an easy recipe to make Pani Puri at home:

Ingredients: For the Puris:

1 cup semolina (sooji/rava) 1/four cup all-reason flour (maida) 1/four teaspoon baking soda Water (as wanted for dough) Oil for deep frying

For the Pani (Spiced Water):

1 cup sparkling mint leaves

half cup clean coriander (cilantro) leaves

2-3 green chilies (adjust to flavor)

1-inch piece of ginger, peeled

1 small lemon (juice)

1 tablespoon tamarind paste

1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

1 teaspoon chaat masala

1/2 teaspoon black salt

Salt to flavor

2-3 cups chilled water

For the Filling:

2 medium-sized boiled potatoes, mashed

1 cup cooked chickpeas (boiled)

Tamarind chutney

Green chutney (non-obligatory)

Chaat masala (elective)

Instructions:

Puri Preparation:

Make the Dough:

In a mixing bowl, combine the semolina, all-motive flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Gradually upload water and knead the combination right into a stiff dough. Cover it with a humid fabric and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.

Shape and Fry:

Spices in trouble

 “Today, we have a very special guest, or guests with us, from the United Kingdom. Please, with open arms welcome The Vamps. Hi guys and welcome to 93.5 Red FM,” the RJ says. She did say her name but I can’t really pronounce it so I’m okay with saying ‘RJ’. ‘Hello’s and ‘Hi’s got exchanged. “Welcome to India guys, how are y’all doing? How has India been treating you?” she asks, having the usual fake enthusiasm that they need to have in their voices. “Great, great, It’s been a wonderful time here,” Tristan replies, “This is actually our third time in India. So feeling good about it.”

They continue asking us questions about our album and whatever music we have planned for the future, then our on-going tour. “Brad, you’re quite a sight for sore eyes in India, I mean I’m not saying that the rest of you are unattractive. All of you are very hot, its just…you know Brad is..” Why was this woman even talking anymore. All four of us looked at here as if she had grown three heads. I laugh awkwardly, “Thank you I guess.” She kept on making lame attempts at me and honestly I was just feeling awkward. One of the attendees came and whispered something in her ear, making her face go somber for a second. Then giving a choked laugh she continues, “I know you guys have been asked this question possibly in every interview that you guys have attended, but its always fun to hear about it. So how have you liked the food here? What’s your favourite food?” “Matar paneer,” James replies. “Reshmi kebab, Its spicy but not soo much that I get tears in my eyes so I like it the most.” Connor says. “I really loved the aloo paratha, so probably that,” Tristan says. “I like the panipuri a lot. I’m not a very huge fan of spicy food but my girlfriend is Indian so she’s used to it and because of her I get to eat a lot of it too. Panipuri is actually her favourite food and she got me hooked onto it,” I went on blabbering. James, who was sitting beside me, hit me on my thigh. I looked at him, and his shocked face made me realise what I said. So yes I do have an Indian girlfriend, and no one knew about it because we wanted to keep it a secret. Apparently it isn’t much of a secret anymore. So SHIT. “Oh wow, so there is a special lady in Brad’s life as well. So guys, you heard it here first. Mr. Brad Simpson, one of the most eligible bachelors of England is taken and you heard it on 93.5 Red FM,” the RJ announces very loudly, “Anyways thank you so much for being here.” “Thank you so much for having us here,” Connor says kindly. This was usually my line to say but I was still trying to figure out what will I go and tell Y/N.

Getting up from our seats we walk out of the room,  we get our pictures taken then get into our designated car and drive back to the stadium where we would have our concert today. Near the entrance I see Y/n standing there, hands locked in front of her, her body weight resting on one leg, with a knowing smirk on her face. All of us get out of the car. Connor walks towards her, hugging her. I walk a little behind them, trying to make myself some time. She didn’t look angry, I mean I know she wouldn’t really be angry at me but just taking precautions because she really didn’t want to reveal our relationship so soon. But there were only so many steps between us. “Hi baby,” she says, the wicked smile not leaving her face. “Hi honey,” I say, pecking her on the lips, “Let’s go inside, we’re so behind schedule, there’s so much to do today. So much practise. Let’s go!!” I say quickly, trying to drag her inside with me. She starts laughing behind me, “You cutie, I’m not angry at you. You can chill out.” I stopped walking, and turned to face her, “You’re not?” “Nah, plus I won 4 bets so I’m 40 pounds richer. That’s a lot of panipuri for us you know,” she says. “Oh I’m so gla- Wait, 40 pounds? What did you bet on? And with who?” She points behind me, and I turn to see James, Connor and Tris hide behind the equipment. Also Dean gave an awkward wave. “What was the bet?” I ask. “If you would somehow talk about me in the whole India tour,” she says, both of us slowly walking towards the playroom (A/N- that’s what I saw in the videos that they post so don’t attack me). “And what did they bet on?” “That you got more self-restraint than that, but you know, I know you better to know that restraint isn’t one of your strongest points,” she smiles meekly again, “Personally speaking,” she winks. “Oh please keep the damned bedroom talk inside the bedroom, “ Tris says, hitting Y/N on the shoulder, making all of us laugh. “Good to know,” I laugh.
