my wife is going through her drafts and it's literally all posts about me. please send help i love my wife.
Sometimes I see stuff I've made my wife on my photo reel and think 'wow, I'm actually good at cooking now'. There is no point to this post except that I'm excited about having learned to cook, from a starting point of literally 0 knowledge.
if my wife and I crinkle the plastic on the cat treat bag even slightly, they look up at us like the velociraptors from jurassic park. how do they know even when it is the faintest noise???
I finished cleaning my backyard today. Tomorrow I want to do the porch. I found catnip growing in one of our flowerbeds.
i just remembered that one time we got an ask on the ask blog saying that we were homophobic for not having davekat amd it made me laugh so hard i got coffee in my nose
I'm having a lot of really interesting feelings now that I've gotten this jaw infection removed, and I appear to have had a ton of my other chronic issues cured too—like, oh, it turns out a decade long necrotic infection in your dead nerve that develops to the point of eating holes into your jawbone, and thus spreads, will... also drive you crazy and make your spine very angry at you, etc.
That makes sense! But I still don't know how to cope with being... suddenly okay, and I am going to periodically bitch about it here, because I really don't know how to explain to my friends, 'sorry I was occasionally objectively out of my mind, I had septic holes in my face and it was making me crazy' without it sounding even wilder than it actually was already. I feel even worse concerning the friends who I made specifically because we were both chronically ill. Getting better feels like a betrayal, in a way.
I can garden. I can run. I mowed my lawn today. I woke up and simply made coffee. I am beside myself and don't really know how to start realigning my life with the sudden reality that I might be okay now.
i just have literally no notes. everything about the direction of the gaslight district. im out of my mind. thank you
