People are doing the same thing to Harry what they are still doing to Diana. Taking away their free agency in doing what they do. Diana wasn’t brainwashed into doing an interview, she said what she said. Harry isn’t being “used” or “forced” to talk about this, he said what he said. It’s crazy how these people aren’t listening to what they are saying and are so quick to say “they don’t really want to do/say this, they didn’t mean it”.
She was supposedly coerced into doing the interview and, according to William, also what she said. However Diana wrote in a letter on December 22nd 1995:
"Martin Bashir did not show me any documents nor did he show me any information that I was not previously aware of. I consented to the interview with panorama without any pressure and have no regrets concerning the matter."
I'm sorry to both Harry and William, but I choose to believe Diana. Her sons weren't present and don't know how her mind works regardless of how close they were to her.
Harry is a grown man and he's just telling his side of what's been happening for the last 4 years. The press has been allowed to make up a version of events the whole time so why can't Harry actually talk about his own life?
Diana trending because of the panorama interview... she said what she said. The panorama interview isn’t the first time she’s said this stuff . There was tapes, a book and other videos before the panorama interview.
I really can’t with the British media suddenly choosing to care about “ ethics” in journalism here, as if they weren’t a major contributor to her death.
"'As we have said before, the BBC will never show the programme again; nor will we license it in whole or in part to other broadcasters - the decision to show the interview is a matter for Netflix,' a spokesperson said."
The streaming giant used two clips from the Panorama interview in the first episode of Harry & Meghan under the longstanding 'fair dealing'
Princess Diana's brother told BBC bosses 17 years ago that reporter Martin Bashir used underhand tactics to land his bombshell Panorama inte
