In the midst of watching His Dark Materials S2 and this scene is probably one of my favourites so far. Lyra not looking at Will while he's bathing, but Pan is.

In comparison, in S1, Roger and Salcillia both don't look at Lyra while she's bathing, which shows the nature of their relationship as friends.

I really like how this shows she has a crush on him so clearly. Will is oblivious because he still doesn't know fully how daemons work. Earlier in the episode, we see Pan touching him to comfort him as well. Which is also not done because you're not allowed to touch someone else's daemon.
