have you ever had a near death experience from doing something dumb?

Kinda??? I was like five years old once and was in a pool. I was holding onto the edge bc i didn't know how to swim really, but i remember i REALLY wanted to swim like my older brother. My mom was off with my little brother and my dad was with my older brother, i was a little aways from them both but they could still see me and there were other people too.

Anyway so i was dumbass five year old though "...hEy. i can SWim" and let go of the edge and almost drowned before i really nice old lady pulled me out bc my parents didn't have time to get to me.

if yoooouuu where able to have a super dumb super power: like, you can turn invisible, but you have to scream the whole time. Sooooo-.

Shapeshifting but it only works as long as i keep making my kazoo noise. The more dramatic a change is the louder i have to kazoo.

(For context i can make the strangest sound with my mouth that sounds IDENTICAL to a real kazoo. It drives my entire family crazy and always catches people off guard)

My current life.

For real though, I've always felt like i HAD to be quiet. I still do sometimes. And to this day i have a very very hatd time raising my voice or speaking up at ALL when i get emotional or angry. I WANT to get mad, because as it is right now, i don't think the right people know how upset or angry i am with my current life or with the way they act towards me.

Its hard to get your point across about how pissed you are at someone or something when all you can do is just whisper "I'll do better."

Oh wow okay that got very dark.

Also big cactuses (cacti?) Make me want to scream. Idk why tho. Just the vibe i get. They're angry at someone and i will gladly be their channel.

Boy do i have a story for you haha

So this was back in april and i wanted to start experimenting with using they/them pronouns. I had just come out to a few of my closest friends, but there was one other friend i wanted to tell.

So its early in the morning and my mom had just gone out to go shopping and i had to text her about something. Anyway so i remember a bit later in the morning to tell my friend about my pronouns and i open up my messages.

I type up a short but sweet little message and send it off.

Only then do i read who i just sent it to.

My mom.

Do i have about five anxiety attacks at once and walk upstairs very calmly before locking myself in my room and begin panicking even more.

I came up with something on the fly- that it was actually meant for a D&D group chat and i was playing a nonbinary character- they were coming out in character, obviously

It was so stupid, such a STUPID lie. But the best part? SHE BOUGHT IT.

I've since come out as trans masc to my friends and use he/him pronouns, but i still think about this from time to time...
