Do you want to talk about Poe?
“I’ll really start cryin’ if I do. I just...miss him. I miss him somethin’ awful.”
Does Bronwyn miss Poe? Does she visit him?
She misses him so much. She definitely asks Vincent to take her to visit as often as possible. It kills her that he’s becoming more reaper-ish. She wants to bring him back.
"He stuffs him with so much food it's a mystery as to how he hasn't gained thirty pounds."
Bronwyn chuckled. “Super human metabolism is a wonderful thing.” She gave Vincent another nuzzle. “Then I suppose it’ll please ye to hear that in my house havin’ ice cream for dinner is a regular occurrence?”
The reaper chuckled again. "You're so similar to this demon I associate with."
Since Bronwyn didn’t know which demon that was, her expression remained clear and untroubled. “Would he give Vincent a TV and DVD player as well? Because if so he seems like a fine fellow.”
"Be mindful that he was actually hatched from an egg. He doesn't even sleep in the room offered to him in Jesper's house."
“It’s still good for him to have his own space, especially if he’s goin’ to be spendin’ half o’ his time with me. I can even put a TV and DVD player in there for him.”
"I want a silver cage that rivals mithril!" To which Paola facepalmed.
Bronwyn laughed again, both at the response and Poe’s reaction to it. “How about a nice room instead? If ye insist on a cage, I’m sure we can find ye a splendid one for when ye come with me to my shop.”
"Oh! I want to! I want to, I want to!" the bird hopped on thin legs and the reaper shook his head, ghostly smile haunting his face. "Fine, yes, yes, Vincent. You can stay. Good grief, it was my idea."
Bronwyn laughed softly at Vincent’s excitement. It was precious. “Then I guess ye’ll be stayin’ with me for the next little while. We’ll have a lovely time, ye and I. Is there anythin’ ye need, anythin’ that would make ye more comfortable?”
"Oh! I love those!" he chirped, feathers fluffing. "Do you want me to leave him here with you for a while?" asked Poe.
“Oh ye do, do ye? Well have another.” Bronwyn kissed Vincent’s head again, adding in a little nuzzle for good measure. He was easily the sweetest bird she’d ever known.
“I’d love that, but only if ye’re sure and he wants to. I wouldn’t want to deprive ye two of each other’s company.”
