2021 jul 24 // The evening before we took off on a five days long roadtrip, I started making a Sherlock Holmes themed minibook. Then off we went, driving south through Sweden, stopping at various attractions. We even nipped over to Copenhagen in Denmark, before we drove north along the east coast, doing quite a lot of sightseeing. We arrived back home last night, and of course I couldn’t wait to finish up the minibook 😄

I got inspired and wanted to try it out. So much fun working in this small format (my book is 9x9 cm). I followed Marly’s steps to get a hang of all the little details she added everywhere. Now I can’t wait to make more of these little books, I think my next theme will be entomology (insects). Vintage sci-fi, or horror themes could be fun too!

I’ve been busy making a ton of Halloween spreads to prepare for my October posting schedule, but I decided to take a break and make something completely different. A soft, happy spread.🤍🌸

2020 oct 16 // Friday at last! And to top it all off (although the day has only begun) I received my second and last ephemera pack. And I was genuinelly impressed! Such a beautiful and diverse collection of old papers, I love it!

I just wish I could come up with a brilliant system of how to collect these papers in a practical way with easy access. At the moment I store papers in boxes, and whenever I want to journal or make a collage, I have to rummage through all these boxes. And still, I have papers tucked away on shelves and in drawers and forget about them.

Anyways, I will collage three small cards later and again it will be time to go for another stroll through my little world of vintage papers. But I do love it, a big part of my hobbies which I love the most is sorting through papers, or flick through magazines to cut out motifs here and there.
