Hi! I just wanna ask because I've read all your fics of batarou and I honestly keep on rereading them cause they are so good, and You're one of the best writers and I'm a bit thirsty for more batarou content (like why is there so few? They even have less doujinshi), but how about a The Shape of Water Au with Batarou, after watching that movie I imagined Badd and Garou to be like that too. 😍😅😊😃
Oh god, Anon-san, I hear you. I have seen ONE doujinshi that a friend found once. I've never even found that one online, so honestly if anyone ELSE has, please let me know.
But god, yes, Shape of Water AU. I've been thinking of this recently especially in the context of New and Improved Garou.
Because he definitely has a very animal look to him right now. Put him in water and you have one of those rocky fish with sharp teeth. And he starts coming out to watch Badd, the handyman who has been brought in because he's a big guy who can handle shit and doesn't talk to a lot of people. He's just trying to keep his head down and make some cash for him and his sister so she can get what she needs for school and not end up a bum like him.
But then he's having lunch one day sitting next to the tank, and it's not like Weird Fish Boy ever actually comes out from the fake rocks they've put in...but damn if his soda doesn't disappear. Wtf. Did he drop it? Did he actually forget it, because he didn't have even a sip of it. It feels like he's losing it.
That's before he actually starts noticing Garou coming out to watch him. He just sort of...floats along while he's mopping. Stops when he stops. It becomes a fun game.
Badd really should just keep doing his job, but...dammit. Now what is he going to do?
Holy shit, this just hit me like a pile of bricks.
Listen.
OPM -- Cardcaptor AU
With Zenko as Sakura Saitama as Kero Tareo as (a version of) Tomoyo Badd as Touya Garou as (a slightly more feral) Yuki Child Emperor as Syaoran
...it’s been a long time since I watched Cardcaptor Sakura so honestly I’m open to other characters, since I know that’s definitely not everybody but in my head those were the important ones okay.
Mumen Rider, Worst Enemy headcanon!
For a while, when Garou realizes Mumen doesn’t have an arch nemesis, he starts following him around, committing small ‘crimes’ to get his attention. Nothing crazy, but just things like...egging the city center, or letting the air out of his tires (always when he’s near a gas station), or vandalizing in small places.
Always with notes specifically goading Mumen Rider.
At one point, Mumen Rider creates a ‘call-out’ to his nemesis, challenging him to a fight. Garou shows up in a costume, ready to let Mumen win, but when Mumen calls out to him by name, Garou is perplexed.
Mumen laughs. “What? Was I not supposed to know it was you?”
inasa, scent
The first holiday after Inasa starts dating Kirishima, he goes to one of those stores where you can make custom colognes. He puts together everything that sounds manly: sandalwood! Ginger! Suede! Something with ‘Tuscan’ in the name, sure, manly men like Tuscany, right?! Woop, better put something sweet in, too. Kirishima is super sweet, after all.
It is. So damn pungent and complex. That they actually offer to reimburse Inasa if he will just let them make one for him.
He refuses, of course.
Instead, he presents it to Kirishima in all its terrible glory...
...and Kirishima, of course, adores it.
Kiribaku Headcanons: Take His Hand Edition
In lieu of today’s new episode, I had to share some related headcanons that popped into my head:
Kirishima keeps both the horns and the night-vision goggles. Bakugou finds out when they are moving from the dorms to their own apartment.
Now and then, Bakugou will hold his hand out to Kirishima and say ‘Come,’ but usually it’s in the most mundane situation, like when he’s knelt to tie his shoe, or he’s on the floor getting something from under the couch, or after Bakugou has knocked him over rough-housing. It makes Kirishima smile. It makes that strange, stressful time a little more distant.
Kirishima saved the money that Bakugou gave him for the goggles. He put it away until their first date, and that’s what he used to pay for everything.
Bakugou didn’t know how to talk about Kamino for a while after it happened, and things with Kirishima were a little awkward and quiet. Kirishima acted like he was fine. He wasn’t. It culminated in a big fight that ended with Kirishima crying and Bakugou staying with him until he stopped. (I might write more about this at some point.)
Sometimes, when they are walking together and nothing is said, Bakugou will squeeze Kirishima’s hand, and even though they’re safe, even though it’s nothing like that one night, it still feels like the first time to both of them.
Kirishima headcanons please! I'd love to see your thoughts on the soft goofball
Kirishima loves sports anime! He and Tokoyami have been exchanging manga throughout school to give each other’s preferred genres a try. Fact: one was very scary, and Kirishima begged Bakugou to let him sleep in his room for a night because he thought he’d get nightmares.
Kirishima has a record player because when he was growing up his grandfather told him that “real men” listen to music the way it was intended. It’s always stuck with him, and now it’s something that relaxes him to the bone.
Although it isn’t as bad as when he was a little kid, Kirishima is very nervous about anything coming towards his eyes.
It might be his hardening quirk, but Kirishima only wants his wardrobe to be comfortable. He doesn’t care about fashion. Give him something soft and cozy and he’s so happy. He shops at thrift stores a lot for his clothes because they are so well-worn and he doesn’t feel as bad if he tears them with his quirk.
To help with some of his troubling times in middle school, Kirishima was a dog walker at a local shelter. It felt like he was a hero to the pups, even if it was just to give them some company for a while.
Either Ishimondo or Sekirei (Reigen and Sei....uhh...I forgot how to spell his name but the guy with the black hair and suit from MP100!) 😅 for the headcanons I mean!
(2) SERIZAWA! I meant Serizawa and Reigen.
I knew who you meant just from that message! Oh man I am so excited for Season 2 JUST for Serirei, okay. And since I got an Anonymous requesting Ishimondo I’ll do that one separately : D
Okay, so. Serirei:
Serizawa loves doing Reigen’s laundry. All the way down to pressing his shirts. It makes him feel very calm, and he likes to sit and listen to the washer and dryer.
On Reigen and Serizawa’s wedding day, it rains, of course. And since it’s a small, private affair, Serizawa feels that he can get away with putting up a psychic shield to keep them all dry. Until the kiss, of course. Then, he can’t concentrate enough to keep it up, and they don’t part until they’re both soaking wet.
Serizawa absolutely grays first; his hair starts going white around his ears, and he’s a little self-conscious because Reigen has a perpetual baby face. But Reigen adores it. He says that it makes him look mature and dignified.
Now and then the b-movies can be a little much for poor Serizawa, and he gets queasy and needs to leave the room. Reigen thinks he’s being a good host by pausing the movie until he gets back, and Serizawa doesn’t have the heart to tell him he’d rather he didn’t.
One time, to trade off the experience, Reigen lets Serizawa groom him. Even a mom with dull scissors is nothing compared to nervous Serizawa, who accidentally butchers Reigen’s ‘do. Reigen forgives him, of course, and until it grows out enough to be fixed, he tells his clients that it was the result of a particularly angry spirit. It drums up a lot of business!
