Any theories how our girls are gonna get back to remnant? And do you think Neo is gonna switch sides or would she get left behind?
Honestly I have no clue lmao. I think my best guess is that someone or something that's already on the island will help them get back. Maybe there's a spirit there like the relic spirits that's residing there for whatever reason, or hell, maybe they meet the gods. Or maybe there will be some revelations that make them understand the nature of the island in a way that allows a passage to open. It's really so open to guesswork that I'd accept any theory at this point.
As for Neo....I don't know that either. My ideal scenario is reluctant allies that break apart once the allyship offers no more benefit. Neo isn't really in a place that's ready for redemption, both narratively and character-wise. And I don't mean that as a "she doesn't deserve redemption" thing, but more that we haven't really seen any indication that it's on the table for her like it was for Emerald. If they do decide to have Neo switch sides this volume, I at least hope I'll get my desired Ruby vs Neo death match fight.
Either way it goes, though, she won't get left behind. That's not team RWBY's style.
