My terribly late contribution to Make A Terrible Comic Day (which tbf I only just found out about it)

I took some time off today for 'self care'. I went out, did crafts, met friends, walked around the shopping district, had a nice cup of tea at a nice cafe, etc. Somewhat forced myself to be out and about instead of being glued to the bed.
I was actually looking forward to today, but it ended up being somewhat disappointing - not-so-nice strangers, awkward conversations, anxieties, whathaveyous (am I overthinking it?). It is a shame, because I didn't really set up any high expectations. And it felt like I was dragging myself around doing things without fully enjoying it. The highlight of the day was drinking the tea!

But we don’t know for sure, so we will just have to live through it and see
