I took some time off today for 'self care'. I went out, did crafts, met friends, walked around the shopping district, had a nice cup of tea at a nice cafe, etc. Somewhat forced myself to be out and about instead of being glued to the bed.
I was actually looking forward to today, but it ended up being somewhat disappointing - not-so-nice strangers, awkward conversations, anxieties, whathaveyous (am I overthinking it?). It is a shame, because I didn't really set up any high expectations. And it felt like I was dragging myself around doing things without fully enjoying it. The highlight of the day was drinking the tea!
