"Para ser + sustantivo” es una colocación en español que usamos cuando queremos hacer un comentario de una persona, remarcando su diferencia con respecto a un grupo al que esta persona pertenece. Uff, ¡eso suena difícil de entender! Pero no lo es tanto; son comentarios en los que se generaliza con estereotipos, y por desgracia los vais a oír. Por ejemplo:
Para ser español, hablas inglés muy bien = Los españoles en general no hablan inglés bien, pero tú sí.
Para ser mujer, eres bastante graciosa = Las mujeres no son graciosas pero tú sí lo eres.
Para ser americano, no estás muy gordo = Generalmente los americanos están gordos pero tú no lo estás mucho.
¡Pero no siempre tiene que ser negativo! Con “para + infinitivo” podemos hacer otras frases similares:
Para tener 50 años está muy guapa = La personas de 50 años no suelen ser guapas, pero tú sí.
Para vivir en Francia sabes poco de queso = La gente que vive en Francia aprende mucho sobre el queso, pero tú no.
