Tybalt arrived at the dinner only slightly before 1:00 and was seated. Since he wasn’t attacked by a flurry of red hair, he assumed that Posey wasn’t working. That was probably for the best. She would have interrupted what was sure to be an interesting discussion. The one thing he could count on with Lilith was that she held the same views as he did regarding both the Montagues and the future of their family. How they went about securing that future, however, well, that might be a point of contention.

There was something kinda freeing about walking around the fair virtually unnoticed. It was easy to get lost in the sea of people and enjoy the sights and sounds of the fair. She was debating eating something ridiculous and decadent when she spotted a familiar blonde head. She walked over to where Lilith stood. “Long time no see, Miss.”

For the god damned third time hands brushed violently against each other in a frantic attempt to clean the blood off his skin; but there was no blood anymore, there wasn't any blood for nearly a month, yet every night he'd woke up covered in sweat, some nights scratches, and washed his fingers over and over again in the dark. Elijah couldn't take his reflection in the mirror of the shit holes they'd rent a room in to spend the night. The boy checked his jeans' pockets before leaving, careful enough not to wake up his sister sleeping in the bed right next to the door. He needed a smoke. Damn, he might need ten, and that's why he walked outside in silence, leaving the motel room and taking the stairs until he recognized the cold night air, spotting a car nearby and leaning on it at the time he took one filter out of his cigarette pack, leading it to his mouth and pressing it against his lips. It was cold, and it was dark, and Elijah Ronan didn't have anything to say. He simply wanted to be alone.
