You're not scared, are you? || Christina & Cassie
Christina couldn't help but think how dangerous this situation was, as she fished around her huge closet for something warm she could wear while out on this 'mission' with Cassie. Christina was always a danger seeker and she'd already been curious enough to go right up close to a dead body a few nights ago. If that didn't scare her enough, these dreams she was getting certainly were, and there was somewhere deep inside of her that knew they were related. So when Cassie brought up that they should go out basically, looking for the killer or killer(s) and hand them over to the police, she wouldn't admit it but it really scared Christina, even if Cassie was sure that she could handle whoever got in their way.
So all in all, she was just doing this to prove to Cassie that she wasn't scared, and somewhere inside of her, she wasn't.. she was excited. But the fear was overtaking that thought at the moment. If she didn't prove to Cassie that she could do this, then who knew who she might tell? She didn't even know the girl. Her reputation could be ruined in a second and she really didn't want to be known as a cry baby.
She shuffled out the darkest things she had, which were a pair of dark blue jeans and a black knitted sweater, and threw them on rather quickly. She figured it would be safer to wear something that wouldn't catch so much attention than her usual get-ups. Who would of known Christina Harper had a brain? Sticking her phone in her pocket, Lacing up her boots, zipping up her coat and wrapping a scarf around her neck, Christina tiptoed across the landing, moving swiftly past her parents' room without waking them. Thank god they went to bed earlier than usual.
When she was out of the door, the cold air hit her like a slap in the face. She sighed to herself as she wondered what Richard would think about all of this, seeing as he had advised her not to go around looking for danger all the time. Right now, she agreed with him and she wanted to run back into her house and sleep peacefully in the safeness of her own room. But the other side of her was telling her to keep walking, that this would be fun.
When she reached the town square, next to the clock where Cassie had said, Christina wrapped her arms around herself as she waited nervously for the feisty brunette.
