Pushing himself from the bed, Louis made his way down to the kitchen, but not before he check if Danielle was still sleeping and grabbing his shirt from the floor, tossing it on top of the dresser. He knew she would have a massive hangover and though he didn’t have the best cure, he had his own ways of helping with the process. He yawned, running his fingers through his messy hair as he began to make her tea, something he hadn’t done for her in a very long time. He grabbed his phone from the counter, sending a quick text to the sitter to check on his son as he slowly made his way back up the stairs with the cup of tea in his hand. Carefully climbing on the bed, he reached his hand out to brush hair from her face. “Time to wake up, love.” He kept his tone soft as he ran his fingers lightly through her hair. “I made you tea.” / @dreamydaniellecampell
It was raining heavily outside. The pattering on the windows were a distant sound while Marcus queued in line at a coffee shop for a much required hit of coffee. Not the kind he made in his own kitchen. Not the stuff that stewed in the staff room. Fresh, hearty, and steaming hot real coffee.
After the whole outburst of emotions from Valentine’s and the excessive amounts of alcohol he’d drank he was paying for it today. His headache grew excruciating if he accidentally looked at a bright light or took more notice of the noise but generally thudded away regularly at the back of his head. One of the times when work didn’t seem to help. When it couldn’t distract him enough to stop him from thinking about his problems entirely. And it had to be about love. Ugh.
Donning a pair of sunglasses, he placed his order of a black coffee and a croissant and stood aside to wait. Absently on his phone as he failed to notice who was here.
NOTES: Dani and Brittany come up with a good way to relax and go to the movies together.
Brittany zipped up her coat and let out a heavy sigh. The blonde was glad that Dani was joining her to the movies. Not only did she really wanna go see it, but she needed to relax her mind from her parent's pressuring her as well as why Finn was so upset with her. They weren't dating per say, but they gave off that impression. She turned on the engine of her car and drove to where Dani said she'd be. She smiled while spotting the familiar girl and pulled up in front of her. "Aaand your ride is here." She said before leaning over and opening the door for her.
This wasn't a high school dance where an arms length away from the partner was close. Bryant had only known Dani for less than 24 hours but he felt content with her around. Bryant wasn't the excitable type, although there were things he enjoyed, he preferred mellow activities. But Dani gave him a rush of both; he could tell she had a wild side to her. The color of her eyes and the slight twinkle was captivating. He could spend all night sitting and looking at them. But with the lights as dim as they were, their dark color was masked.
Bryant tilted his head downwards and looked to her face. She licked her lips, as she seemed to regularly do. "Find something tasty?" He knew how that question would be answered so he offered a smile. This girl definitely was different.
He pulled her close as the music drifted around them. Resting his head on hers, he smelled her hair: flowers. It seemed she was everything he'd been missing lately which was relaxation. Bryant closed his eyes and let himself drift off to somewhere they could be alone.
Nick traveled for months on his own, never seeing another living person. He was starting to think that he was the only one left. He didn’t know how to feel about that. Part of him was glad to be alone, because no one could hurt him, but the other half, the half that needed companionship, was feeling pretty lonely right then. Wh all hope seemed lost of ever seeing living people again, he met up with a small group of five people and they took him in. He didn’t trust them at first, but also didn’t want to be alone anymore. He had begun to think that he was the last survivor.
Over the next few weeks, he actually grew to trust this group and actually considered them family, but nothing good ever last for him, it seemed, because they got raided by another group, who shot and killed his entire group. He was shot as well, but didn’t die. He only pretended to be dead until the other group was gone. Then he slowly and carefully got up and gathered his things, it’s a good thing he didn’t trust people and hid his bow and his bag. That way, the raiders didn’t find it. While he did that his fallen group member began to rise up again, which confused Nick. They were dead, not bitten…How could they have turned? He had to kill his friends again, which only succeeded in making him close up even more.
So he left the bodies of his fallen friends and continued on. He was injured from being shot and bleeding pretty badly, but knew that if he stopped he was dead anyway. He bandage himself the best he could with what he had, which wasn’t much, and kept moving. After at few more miles, he knew he needed to stop or risk passing out. He had lost a lot of blood and needed to rest, but he needed to find somewhere safe, but where? He walked a few more miles, until his vision started to blur and he getting light headed. His bag was starting to feel heavy as he grew weaker. He skin was pale from the loss of blood and he knew he couldn't go any further. He fell against a tree and slid to the ground. He didn't stand a chance out here alone. He was either die from his injuries or become a snack to a passing walker.
[Nate sat on the bathroom floor leaning his head back against the cold bath. He looked over and the lines and pills he had for Dani, his own long gone. The door was locked and just stared into space, his imagination going into overdrive.]
'Cause we fit together like two pieces of a broken heart II Danchel
Tagging: Rachel Berry and Dani Valiente
Time: Saturday, 8 Dec - after Sam's Roaring 20s Bash.
Place: Dani’s home.
General Notes: The tittle comes from Two Pieces by Demi Lovato. If you guys died with my reply ealier, I'm afraid what the last four paragraphs could do to your health. Please, stay safe. Also. Warning: there is very intense making out.
Rachel: "You're not stupid, can you please stop and listen to me?", Rachel didn't let Dani turn on the car, holding her hand a bit too hard. "Do you really think I would kiss someone else after complain because you were receiving a massage?! I... I have to admit that I didn't pulls away but I don't know, okay? I was too surprised! That is it. It's all what happened, I'm sorry you had to see it and I guarantee you that Blaine will take what he deserve for that, but please..." she moved her other hand to touch Dani's face and make the girl turn her gaze to her. "... talk to me?".
Dani: Dani couldn't fight Rachel's touch as the girl's skin touched hers, their eyes meeting. With a sigh, she found all of her anger dissolving as she looked into the brunette's eyes. Although that didn't ease the hurt, she knew somehow they would work it out. Her hand upon the keys in the ignition loosening. "...I can't take you home like this. So, stay with me tonight? You can borrow my clothes and my parents won't be home in the morning so we can go out and grab something..."
Rachel: "And I really can't let my dads see me like that or they will never trust on me again - which means they would even stop me to go out with you. Your home seems the best choice. Are your parents at home now though? I don't want to give problems and more things to you worry about, today was enough for a whole month of it.", Rachel let Dani's hand go, so she could start to drive. "If I ask you to stop though... just do it", she said as feeling her stomach getting weird. Oh, Rachel, why did you drink?!
Dani: "They are, but they're fast asleep. They won't notice a thing and even if they do, they'll be cool I promise..." Dani looked away and nodded in agreement to the rest of the girl's words. With her hand free, she started the engine, the dashboard light dimly glowing in the car. "I'll drive carefully," she spoke, turning on the radio as they navigated the streets to her house. As they pulled up to her house, Dani shut the car off and got out, waiting for Rachel as she knew she wouldn't make it to the other side before the girl got out, holding out her hand to the girl, offering for her to hold it if she so wished.
Rachel: Rachel kept her eyes closed while Dani was driving, trying to focus on something else to not vomit. It seemed like her brain was shaking inside her head and when she noticed that the car stopped, she mumbled a 'God bless' as opening her eyes. "I think you did an amazing job as we didn't need to stop", she said as getting out of the car and holding Dani's hands. "Thank you". Rachel closed the door and held into Dani, walking slowly beside her and letting the girl leading her. "I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea drink that much..." she cried out as they were getting inside Dani's home. Once they were inside, Rachel kept quiet to avoid wake up her girlfriends parents. The last thing they needed was it.
Dani: "That's a good sign," she gave the girl a weak smile, leading them, "although I have no idea...would you like water or something?" She made sure Rachel stayed steady and quietly got them upstairs to her room, navigating them through the familiar territory of her darkened house. Slowly, she opened the door so it didn't squeak and got them inside, locking it after it had closed. "Stay here..." she spoke softly, letting go of Rachel's hand as she went to the lamp and turned it on. Turning around, she glanced back at Rachel. Something about the girl caused her defenses to crumble and she let out a sigh. Without thinking about her next move, she walked over the girl and kissed her on the cheek and took a step back. "Closet is right there so, feel free" she nodded to the door on the opposite wall which contained her wardrobe.
Rachel: "I don't know... but I'm not thirsty so I don't think it would be a good idea", she mumbled as letting Dani lead them as she couldn't recognize anything of her house though she had been there before. Rachel walked slowly around Dani's room, looking for her bed and sat on it immediately after she find that. The brunete closed her eyes as Dani's lips touched her cheek. She couldn't believe on that, but when the girl pulled away she noticed she was a bit better. Knowing that Dani wasn't angry with her, didn't make the dizziness go away but at least she was happy now. Nodding in agreetment, the girl stood up and walked to the closet. She didn't know if everything was really moving around her or what, but Rachel felt like the bottle in spin the bottle game. She took her clothes off before find any clothe to wear and hesitant, she decided to call Dani to help her. "I can't find where you keep the shirts, as I think it will be probably the only thing that will fit in my body", she tried to say it lower, to not wake up her parents but louder enough to Dani listen to.
Dani: Dani glanced over as she was called, seeing Rachel more than halfway undressed. With more confidence than she felt, she walked over behind Rachel and grabbed a shirt for the girl she thought would suffice for the night, "Here." She took a couple steps away so Rachel had enough space to. Deciding to get undressed herself and into more comfortable clothes, she tugged at the zipper, allowing the dress to slide off her shoulders onto the ground. Pushing away whatever emotions were starting to build, she walked back towards the closet, her eyes on a shirt. Unclasping the clip from the prong on the back of her bra, she allowed to fall as well and reached for the shirt, a simple black v-neck and it fall down over her body.
Rachel: Rachel didn't turn around as Dani walked over behind her and just looked up to the girl, giving her an innocent - and shy - smile. Before wear the shirt, she looked to it, checking the draw on the shirt. "Hufflepuff, really?", she asked as rolling her eyes and turned around, to unlock her bra and dress the shirt . She was Slytherin's, it was a shame use this shirt. "What is next, are you going to make me use a Gryffindor scarf?", she asked as turning around to face Dani as laughing, to show the girl she was just kidding. In the second her eyes rested on Dani's body and all that skin showing, she stopped to laugh. She couldn't say if she was even breathing. "Wow", she mumbled, staring to Dani's legs, her eyes slowly moving up until find her eyes. "You're beautiful". It was the alcohol speaking, Rachel could swear she was trying to control herself but wasn't working.
Dani: "Don't diss my house babe," Dani turned with a playful grin as she glanced at her girlfriend. In a moment, she paused, the grin softening as she tried to take a breath. In the light from the light, her eyes took in the girl's legs and tan skin that wasn't covered by the yellow shirt. "S-so are you," the words were shaky, like her breath had been taken away and just returned. Rachel's gaze didn't escape her notice until their eyes met. Silence fell between them but somehow Dani didn't seem to even realize. Her gaze dropped down for a second, noticing that her hands were trembling even in the dim light. "I'm...um, going to finish getting ready..." she pointed to the bathroom, using the moments it took to finish getting ready for bed to try and control herself. Brushed teeth? Check. Make-up removed? Check. Contacts out? Check. Libido and heart rate? Working on it. Placing her glasses on, she made her way back to her room. "There's an extra toothbrush and stuff if you need," she gave Rachel a shy smile before placing a quick kiss on her lips, sharply inhaling as she pulled back.
Rachel: Rachel felt her cheeks heat up when Dani looked at her like that. "T-thank you", she mumbled. As Dani walked away, Rachel nodded and moved to sit in her bed to wait for the chance to use the bathroom. As everything seemed to move way fast for Rachel's liking, she rested her elbow on her thigh; leaning her head on her hands. "I don't want to be the bottle anymore, please..." she cried out, not aware of how nonsense was it. She looked up when she heard Dani approaching and inhaled sharply before reciprocating the kiss, electricity shooting through her immediately. “Okay, thank you babe.” She muttered, heading to the bathroom. Heavy. Every move seemed too much effort, but fortunately Rachel was able to remove the make-up, brush her teeth, comb her hair and wash her face a hundred times, trying to get sober. With a look to the mirror, she mumbled a 'now you look decent at least' and walked to Dani's bed again to lay down beside the girl. "Dani, may I ask you something?"
Dani: Dani shook her head as Rachel left. The thrill their short kiss brought still coursing through her body. With a sigh, she laid down. Her girlfriend had just drunkenly been kissing someone else, and she couldn't stay angry. That didn't ease the dread that came with the memory, but Blaine was gay, Rachel seemed to be upset as well and alcohol made people do stupid things. Could she really ruin both relationships over a drunken mistake? Rachel's earlier words about the massage repeated through her mind which only made her believe the girl and whatever Blaine might say. As Rachel returned, Dani couldn't help but gaze at her. Even without make up, she was still breathtakingly beautiful. Quickly inhaling, she shifted over just slightly to allow more room for her girlfriend. "Anything baby, what's up?" Dani looked over at her with curiosity in her eyes.
Rachel: "Blaine and I...", she started kind of hesitant, wondering if Dani was still angry with the boy. "We had a conversation before he..." her voice slowly disappeared, as she was thinking of word it in a better way "... before we have to leave and..." she turned her gaze to Dani as moving to get close to the girl, wrapping her arms around her. "He said...", she didn't know how to say that so she just let it out. "He said you love me...?". This wasn't supposed to be a question as the brunette was telling her about something Blaine did say, but as Rachel had doubts about that, it was impossible to not sound like a question.
Dani: Dani's lips parted just a few centimeters as she heard the words Rachel spoke, trying to keep her breathing steady (especially since she knew Rachel would be able to hear if her heart beat just a little faster or if she swallowed too hard). At the mention of Blaine, she felt a spark of jealousy and anger return, but it was diffused as the brunette continued. 'He said you love me...?' Just four words had managed to make her blood freeze. Her mind was searching for the words but they were escaping. How could she respond? Love? It was too soon, wasn't it? Yet she had almost spoken those three little words earlier...snuggling into the girl's arms that had wrapped around her, Dani spoke, her words just above a whisper, "Well...what do you think?" she looked at Rachel, meeting her eyes, their faces much closer than she had anticipated.
Rachel: Maybe if Rachel wasn't so drunk, she could have noticed how her question messed with Dani but as her senses weren't working perfectly, she didn't. "I think..." she was just about to let out a whole speech about love and the things connected to it but she thought she could start it after kiss Dani as she was feeling the urge to feel these lips. "... we can talk about it later", she finished and leaned towards Dani, putting her legs between Dani's as wrapping her arms on her neck.
Dani: A silent gasp of surprise was elicited from Dani's lips as Rachel pulled her in; the kiss full of hunger of passion. Although she knew she should try to fight it, her thoughts were jumbled, unable to focus on anything but the feeling of their lips touching. Gently, she kissed back. Gradually, as Rachel kissed back, she felt the yearning within her grow, building until Dani couldn't hold it and let out a soft moan.
Rachel: Rachel snaked her hand into Dani’s hair and ran her fingernails over her scalp as she kissed her languidly. Rachel recently learned about turn ons and with the throbbing in her lower stomach, caused by Dani's moan, she immediately decided it must be one of her turn ons. Make the girl moan also made Rachel feel somewhat proud of herself which encouraged her to keep going. She moved her hands under Dani's shirt and raked down her stomach, her lips kissing the the girl’s jawline.
Dani: Never could Dani remember feeling this way with any of the small handful of hook ups she had experienced. Whether it was because of the feelings shared between the two girls or Rachel was that good, all Dani knew was her body was wanting, no, needing, the girl. Fervently she kissed Rachel back, until the girl moved away, kissing down to her jawline. As the brunette's fingernails glided across her abdomen, Dani's lips parted in an 'o' shape from the rush of desire it brought pounding through her body which settled into her core. Unable to control her next action, Dani maneuvered her body on top of Rachel's, straddling the girl as she teased the girl, repeating what the girl had done to her by sliding her hands beneath the girl's shirt, her fingernails just grazing the skin as she trailed up and down in short strokes.
Rachel: Rachel inhaled sharply when Dani moved on top of her, moaning quietly as Dani touched her skin. “What you’re doing feels amazing", she whispered and wrapped one arm possessively around Dani’s lower back, pulling her down as she was already missing the girl's lips. Running the other hand of her over Dani's shoulder, Rachel moved slightly only to have Dani's legs between hers. "You... have... the ... most.. kissable... mouth... h-how you even do it?", Rachel mumbled into the kiss, pulling Dani even more close.
Dani: The sound of Rachel's moan only turned Dani on more, the throbbing in her core beginning to make itself more known. "You...too..." Dani whispered back before Rachel brought her back. Each kiss became more deep. For only a second Dani parted to take off her glasses she had all but forgotten in the passion that had been ignited. With a short gust of wind that she manipulated, the glasses were taken care of and Dani's focus went back to Rachel who had pulled her right back, their kisses deepening with each passing moment. Slowly, Dani moved, trailing her kisses down to Rachel's jawline until she reached Rachel's neck.
Rachel: Kissing neck. Oh yeah. Second turn on. This night was being a moment to find out things about herself that Rachel would have never guessed alone, she could see it. She threw her head back, to give more space to the girl as closing her eyes and moaning quietly. "Dani...", Rachel whispered before bite her lips to make sure she wouldn't let out a louder moan. If only kisses could make her body shakes like that, she wondered what would happen if Dani started to suck it. With her hands on Dani's back yet, Rachel ran her fingers on her skin for while before the urge to touch more of Dani's body was impossible to fight against. She moved her hands to Dani's stomach, stroking it for while. Dani's lips on neck were a distraction enough to make Rachel lost and the next thing she knew was that he hand had reached Dani's boobs. Her first impulse was pulls her hands off, but ... well, Dani was giving her a good time there, so the girl deserved it, right? Without know what to do, she sot of squeezed it, curious how it would feel like. She have never touched someone like that neither have been touched so it was very new for Rachel. She looked up to the girl as she passed her fingers over the nipples, curious about the girl's reaction.
Dani: Rachel's moan only added to the warm pool of desire building in Dani's lower abdomen. Dani paused, slowly pulling away as Rachel's hands explored up her body until they found her breasts. Instantly her eyes snapped back to being closed, her back arching as Rachel squeezed. Sharply, she gasped at the sensation as it rolled through her like a fire, intensifying as the brunette's fingertips ghosted over the most sensitive part. She knew the other girl could hear the way her pulse quickened, how her blood was pounding through every part of her body and her heart rate faster than normal. Her hand moved to caress the other girls, gently grasping down, causing another jolt. This time she was a little more prepared but that didn't stop her body from shivering just slightly. This night had definitely taken a turn Dani hadn't expected. Was this to be their first time? As this possibility struck her, Dani swallowed. No. Their first time shouldn't be like this, not with one half of them having been (or possibly still being) drunk. "Rach..." she rested her forehead upon Rachel's, struggling with the desire pulsing through her body, "...if you continue, I won't want to stop..."
Rachel: Watching Dani's reaction at her touch made Rachel feel proud and more comfortable with herself. She never thought she would be so relaxed in a moment like that. The smaller girl have never been so close to someone like that, having this level of intimacy and, despite the way she sees sex, it wasn't so awkward like she had thought. Rachel always considered sex something weird, gross and unncessary to keep a relationship strong. With the massage that Diana gave Dani, she found herself thinking of giving it to the girl just to make sure they wouldn't break up - which gave her an idea about how much Dani, and a relationship at all, could change her. Even though sex wasn't something Rachel would take as the most important thing in a relationship, she knew it would eventually happen in her life. She also knew it would take a time to find the right person - as it wasn't something you she would like to share with someone she wasn't willing to allow get so close. That's why she have been planning her first time for while. It was such a important thing and so it had to be unforgettable. But right in this moment, all her plans didn't seem so important anymore. She would remember it, with or without the magic night she had planned. "Dani...", she mumbled, frustrated. "I don't think I want you stop..."
Dani: The taste of alcohol and mint resided upon her lips which had been passed from Rachel's only confirmed the blue haired girl's thoughts more that this would not be right. It was also not the way she knew she wanted things to go with Rachel. She cared too much about and respected the girl for their first time to wind up like this. "Nor do I," Dani spoke, her words wavering with her breath from fighting against the hormones raging through her body. Her hand moved up to caress Rachel's cheek, their eyes meeting, seeing the lust burning there which was sure was evident in her own as well. Having calmed down, she spoke her next words with a little more strength, trying to convey she was being sincere, "but our first time...we should both be ready for it..." Rachel somehow knew just how to drive Dani crazy in the absolute best way, and the girl was certain the brunette could tell just by listening. Tonight had been more than incredible and no matter how much she wanted them to go further, she wasn't going to let them go further while Rachel wasn't in a position to consent. Dani sighed. "Hold me, please," she whispered, closing her eyes to try and dispel what her body was absolutely begging for.
Rachel: "You don't want me, fine.", the words came out of Rachel's mouth as mere whisper full of pain of being rejected. Ignoring Dani asking her to hold her, she pulled the girl away and moved to the other side of the bed. Rachel stayed there only a few seconds but since there was a chance that Dani would pull her close again, she moved out of the bed. If she wasn't good enough to have sex with, so she wasn't good to cuddle too. She wasn't used to be walk in Dani's room in the dark so, with a few steps, Rachel ran into a desk. "Dammit", she cried out. Her intention was leave teh bedroom but if she was haivng a hard time to walk there, the place she was familiar, she only could think it would be such an adventure to walk around the house. Her car was in Sammy's house anyway, so if she left the bedroom, she wouldn't be able to leave there. "Urgh", with a sight of annoyance, Rachel walked to the corner and sat in the floor, pulling her knees up and wrapping her arms around it.
Dani: Hearing those words, Dani gaped at the girl. "You think I don't want you?" Dani's voice was low, deep with exhaustion yet passionate at the same time as she sat up, resting on her knees, barely registering Rachel's silhouette even in the moonlight shining through. "Okay. Then kiss me again. Listen to my heart rate and tell me that again. If you really want to be down there though, and not next to me, then take a blanket at least," Dani swung her feet out, now sitting at the edge as she grabbed a blanket, walking over to Rachel and placing it around her shoulders. For a moment she paused before walking back to her bed, a small sigh releasing itself from her chest. Pulling the blankets over her, she closed her eyes, hoping her mind would shut off. Tonight had been plenty weird and at the moment she wished to sleep it off.
Rachel: Rachel turned her gaze to stare the wall beside her as Dani was placing the blanket in her shoulders. She knew she would give up and jump in Dani's arms if she looked to her eyes. She leaned her head on her knees after Dani finally walked back to bed, thinking of what Dani said. She was aware alcohol messed with her senses as she couldn't remember if she even listened Dani's heart rate tonight. After what felt like ages, Rachel started to get very sleepy and she almost fell down to the side twice, as falling asleep. She couldn't sleep sitting on the floor, what she was thinking? She couldn't say if Dani was sleeping or not, but just to make sure she wouldn't wake up the girl, Rachel stood up and walked slowly and quietly to the bed. Her feet was cold which meant she would take ages to fall asleep. She thought of get close to Dani but gave up on this idea and laying down a bit away from the girl, she pulled the blankets over and closed her eyes, hoping she would get some sleep before have to go home.
Dani: After a while in which Dani couldn't fall asleep with all the thoughts berating her mind, she heard Rachel start to move from her spot. Seconds ticked on like minutes as Rachel came over to the bed. The slight pressure on the opposite side of the mattress told Dani that the girl had made After just a minute or two, Dani turning around, able to see Rachel's form buried underneath the blankets, barely silhouetted by the moonlight. Taking a moment to breath, she wondered how to not alarm the girl, yet wanting to hold her more than anything. Then again, what if Rachel didn't want her to? Taking her chances, she cuddled closer to the girl, waiting to judge Rachel's reaction to their proximity before making any other moves. Her heart rate picked up a little as she waited, anxiously worrying what Rachel would do, hoping to whatever higher power she believed in that Rachel wouldn't push her away. 'Little diva' Dani bemusedly thought with a silent sigh, knowing that she wouldn't want to change a thing.
Rachel: As Rachel felt Dani getting close, a smirk appeared on her lips. Without turn to look at Dani, Rachel moved back, pressing her back agaisnt Dani's chest. Her hands ran underneath the blankets to reach Dani's and when she did, she pulled her arms; wrapping it around her waist. Her feet were already in Dani's. As their bodies were so close again, Rachel started to feel the familiar electricity shooting through her. Fighting against the urge to turn around and kiss the girl (because she knew it would drive her crazy and if Dani turned Rachel on again the only way to stop her would throw Rachel out of the window), she squeezed Dani's hand that were in her stomach. She was thinking of what to say - if she even needed to say something - when something caught her attention. She couldn't only hear Dani's heart rate as she was actually feeling the girls heart beating against her back. She breathed quietly, her eyes fluttering shut. Her breathing went ragged until she couldn't breathe anymore. Fighting against the tears in her eyes, she took a deep breath before say: "If you were to able to feel it, you would know the answer to my question", she didn't care to explain what she was talking about, but she felt like Dani would understand what she meant.
Dani: Dani took in a deep breath as Rachel's body molded with hers, the other girl's scent reaching Dani's senses, adding to that same electricity flowing through her that she had only read about in fairy tales. Rachel's hand soon met hers, warmth spreading through her hand and into her body but not in the lustful way as had occurred earlier. Instead she found herself lost in the blissful moment like a bubble, as though the world outside were not really there except them. Through the darkness, Rachel's words carried to her ears and Dani's brow furrowed. More than the words, something in the tone of her voice made Dani worry. In seconds, as her mind searched for the answer, something clicked. 'He said you loved me...?' repeated in her mind, soon followed by another sentence 'if you were able to feel it, you would know the answer to my question.' Dani swallowed, her grip tightening just a little as she denied this fact trying to push it's way through. No. That was for fairy tales. She cared about Rachel and right now they were still new. To the relationship. To each other. Love took time. And Rachel's reaction...the girl was...'frightened' Dani realized. Of being loved or having Dani love her...the blue haired girl didn't know. She did feel it, but was the brunette right? Was it love? In a simple gesture, Dani pressed a kiss to the girl's shoulder. "I may not have that answer. But I do know one thing. You make me happy in a way no one else does and I care about you so much. That can't be too much of a bad or scary thing and right now...that's enough." With her body at peace, Dani felt her eyes close with sleep although she wanted to stay in this moment and not sleep just yet.
Rachel: Not being able to fight agaisnt the urge to kiss Dani, Rachel quickly wiped her tears and turned around. "I'm glad I make you happy, because it's the least that I can do for someone who brought me to life. Now I realize that. Before you, I wasn't living. You make me feel things that I've never felt before", Rachel's whispered as watching Dani falling asleep. She didn't know if the girl was sleeping or still fight against the sleep so she leaned and kissed Dani's forehead as soft as she could. "Goodnight babe". The smaller girl wrappered her arms around Dani's waist, tangling their legs together and buried her face in the Dani's neck, ready to sleep.
Dani: Fighting against her fatigue, Dani caught Rachel's words, a smile weakly tugging at her lips through the exhaustion. Blearily she caught sight of Rachel's face and brought her hand up to caress Rachel's cheek which she could guess Rachel's had crying. Happiness? Fear? Sadness? Dani's mind was too tired to figure it out. In the seconds she paused, she felt a pair of soft, supple lips placed upon her forehead. Wearily she managed to form a small sentence. "You do too, you know. Sweet dreams," Dani mumbled sleepily, Rachel's scent filling her senses as the girl turned around. Closing her eyes, Dani drifted off comfortably, gently wrapping her arms just a little tighter around the girl, entwining their legs.

Dani checked the time. Placing both hands on the couch, she pushed herself away from her comfort and started setting up the gear in the basement her and Rachel would need for lessons as well as to showcase her voice. She wasn't sure, but she was stuck between a few-one by Rihanna and a couple of her own. Once she was satisfied with how the guitars and keyboard looked, she walked over the mac book laying on the desk and brought up her iTunes collection. It was filled with a variety of artist and genres that, when shuffled, was completely random. It didn't matter to her though, if she loved a song, she didn't care and would buy it when she had the chance. A knock alerted her to Rachel's arrival. With a smile, she ran upstairs and answered the door; "Hey," stepping back to allow Rachel into her house.
Rachel smiled as she saw Dani at the door. "Hello", she said as getting inside and hugging the girl. "Thank you for invite me and I'll make you don't regret it because I'm Rachel Barbra Berry... with a star". She laughed and looked around for few seconds before turn her gaze to Dani again. "Your house is beautiful Just Dani! Or well actually your living room seems really nice". Rachel smiled handed Dani the cupcakes she brought with her. "Marley taught me how to make them but I don't really get the chance to do it very often so I thought I could enjoy the opportunity and make sure I won't forget how bake these. Oh, it's vegan food by the way, I hope you enjoy".
Dani laughed, a little surprised by the hug, but it was certainly not unwelcome as she hugged the girl back. "Rachel Barbra Berry...with a star. I think I can remember. And it's not problem at all, I thank you for coming and listening for a song." As Dani shut the door, she turned and saw Rachel examining the house. "Thank you," she chuckled at the compliment, glanceing down at the cupcakes; her mouth forming into a little 'o' shape as she accepted them "Oh, thank you" she spoke with evident surprise, "you didn't have to but it's greatly appreciated. Vegan is not a problem; I'm actually excited to try it. We'll chow down when we're going through songs. I'll be right back," she walked into the kitchen, placing them on the counter before walking to Rachel. She nodded towards the stairs "Come on, I'll take you on a tour through the house," she smiled and took a step towards the stairs.
Rachel: "I'm actually really curious about your voice. Now that I'm listening it, I see it's kind of different so I'm curious to see what you can do with it", she said as smiling. Rachel checked her phone and replied Quinn's text as waiting Dani come back. "Do you take everyone in a tour through your house or should I feel special?" she joked once she started to follow Dani towards the stairs.
Dani: **"Thank you...I think," Dani furrowed her brow before it softened "I believe it's a custom. Not too many people come over though so...maybe," a toothy smile tugged on her lips as she glanced at the girl before heading up the stairs, one after the other. When they reached the top, the first door to right clearly shown as Dani's room with music notes and an array of colorful art painted upon it's front. Grabbing the handle, she opened the door. Her floor was clean for once and her bed made. The pale blue walls were filled with poster and artwork. Lights were strung around the room. A guitar stand stood by her bed where her guitar would normally lay and above her bed lay a rainbow flag. Some games were strewn across her desk, Pokemon mainly, by her glasses. Typically she would have worried it would have outed her but she had practiced the 'I'm a supporter' white lie so much, it was perfected. It worked with her parents anyway. "This would be my room, feel free to look," she shrugged, leaning against the wall outside her door. "When your done we can go downstairs and start finding a song and practicing" she offered politely.
Rachel: "You are welcome", Rachel laughed at Dani's reaction before explain she was just kidding. "I know it's a custom, Just Dani. I do the same when people come to my house". The smaller girl kept silent untill they reach Dani's bedroom. After look at everything twice and stare to the rainbow flag above her bed for several seconds, she turned her gaze to Dani and smiled. She wanted to ask Dani if she was just a supporter or if she was actually gay but stopped herself. It wasn't something she should bring to the conversation. If Dani felt like tellling her she would do it, after all she probably knew Rachel was at least bi so there was no need to be afraid to be judged. "I loved you room. Usually bedrooms says a lot of our personality. Yours definitely seems like a Just Dani's place. Like, if I had to imagine it I would imagine a place like this, but less... " she looked around to as mentally saying 'gay' but instead she mumbled. "tidy". Rachel walked to the door where Dani was and giggled. "Yes something on your way made me think you were a messy. Now let's practice?"
Dani: It didn't escape Dani's notice that Rachel's gaze froze on the flag every now and then. Still, the girl smiled at her and which Dani took as a sign that she wouldn't judge her, on her orientation anyway. She wasn't exactly 'heterosexual' vibe from the girl either; of course, her so called 'gaydar' wasn't always correct. "I'm not so sure that's what you mean but, that would be a pretty good assumption" Dani before chuckling, "I suppose it's the clothing, but you're right, usually it's not as spotless," the taller brunette nodded before nodding "to the basement then." She led them down to the carpeted area with a singular desk upon where the computer (with recording software installed upon it) rested beneath a TV. A keyboard rested upon it's side by Dani's side. With the brownies in hand, she sat down on one of the chairs, "So, what would you like to do first?"
Rachel: "Hey my basement isn't so cool", she said as looking around. She chose ignore what she said first, because she didn't want lie saying she really meant what she said but then she wasn't about to tell her thoughts about Dani being gay. "I would like-... no I would love! To listen you singing because I'm curious about you singing Just Dani. I guess I need to know how much good you are before we get on stage together huh? What if you are better than me?", she asked, pretending to be scandalized. She was kidding, but deep inside it was always Rachel's biggest fear as meeting another singer.
Dani: "It's taken a while to get it this way; it wasn't always this 'cool'" Dani chuckled with amusement, having a pretty good feeling Rachel knew but wondering if she should just tell her before choosing to a little later. "Well, then we'll be the best of the best on that stage and everyone will know it," Dani spoke with a faux attitude before giggling and turning to the keyboard. "I think I know which song to sing..." she got up and walked over the instrument. "If you're ready then to hear me then..." she glanced at the brunette with a confident smile before she messed with the controls so she could create the settings for the song, playing the notes until she hit her cue to sing and begun singing to the first artist that came to her mind within her vocal range, Rihanna: 'No more gas in the rig, can't even get it started. Nothing heard, nothing said. Can't even speak about it..."
Rachel giggled at Dani's words before look around and find a seat in front of Dani. Both of them knew this stage partner talk started as a joke since Rachel have never ever heard Dani singing but right in this moment Rachel was apprehensive about it. What if Dani sucked? She would have to lie to the girl because she didn't want to be rude with someone who was being so good with her. But lie to her wasn't something cool to do neither. Rachel crossed her legs and smiled back to Dani. "Break a leg", she mouthed to the girl, ready to listen whatever was coming from Dani's mouth. Rachel breathed so louder that it revealed she was actualliy holding her breath as the girl started. She wasn't good. She was amazing. Rachel gave Dani a big smile and started to sing along with her. She coulnd't help herself but make it a duet. "All my life on my head. Don't want think about it. Feels like I'm going insane. Yeah..."
Dani glanced over at Rachel as she heard the girl sing, her breath catching at first as she heard the girl join in and smiled back as the song became a duet. "It's a thief in the night to come and grab you..." The brunette playing the keyboard had to admit, their voices sounded pretty good together. With each note, she felt herself getting lost in the music more, her eyes closing as she heard each sound from the piano and their voices. She couldn't help noticing she was soon feeling as though her heart were lighter. Music always tended to have this effect though, so she wasn't sure why it took her by surprise but she carried on with the newly formed duet, a smile upon her lips the entire time.
Rachel: It didn't take too long untill Rachel stand up and started to dance around as singing. "Put on your break lights. Were in the city of wonder. Ain't gonna play nice. Watch out you might just go under. Better think twice. Your train of thought will be altered. So if you must faulter be wise..." The song was catchy and Rachel was loving this duet. Their voices seemed to match in a perfectly way. The short brunette dancing and twirling as singing and slowly she got lost in the music, closing her eyes as well. So lost that she hit on Dani by accident, falling over the girl. "Oh my God, sorry!", she said quickly, as stopping to sing.
Dani: Completely lost within the music, Dani was taken off guard when she felt something knock into hard as she fell to the ground and felt something--or more like, someone--land on her. The last notes rang from the keyboard for a second as her eyes fluttered open to meet with Rachel's. "It's okay," she chuckled. "I'm guessing I pass?" She smiled wryly before sitting up, then standing, the dull pain from the fall beginning to fade as she held her hand out to Rachel to help the girl stand. "Ready to practice some guitar?"
Rachel: "No it's not okay, did I hurt you?", Rachel asked as staring to Dani's lips for few seconds, breathing heavily. It was the first time she was on top of a girl and it was nothing as she thought it would be. She would be lying if she said she didn't like to feel Dani so close though, but Quinn was all over her head and things were just too complicated right in that moment. Plus, she didn't even know if Dani was gay. Rachel wondered what would have happened if Dani hand't move away from her so quickly. "Yes, let's practice. Yeah", she said as holding Dani's hand to stand up.
Dani: "I'm good. How are you?" Dani breathed, noticing Rachel's eyes glance down at her lips. It was then she moved, not wanting to entertain the thoughts that were already floating around in her head. She was almost certain the girl wasn't straight. But if the rumors were true of her and Quinn, Dani was concerned she would only only be there for comfort. As their hands met, she made sure to keep it friendly and as soon as Rachel was up, she unwillingly let go. She gave an encouraging smile and walked over to the guitars, shaking away the feelings as she grabbed the wooden acoustic and sat down on the chair.
Rachel: Rachel followed Dani and sat in the chair besides the girl as glancing to the guitars. "Oh my God, how many guitars do you have?" she asked, before turn her gaze to Dani. "You're so intriguing. You look like a rock star, but then you have these guitars that reminds me of the country music and when we decide to practice, you sing Rihanna!" she said as laughing. "But that's quite amazing to keep things interestings Just Dani, so you are fine", she added as looking to her eyes, assuming Dani was wondering if it was a good or bad thing.
Dani: "I'm quite the mix huh?" Dani smiled playfully "I have two acoustic and one electric, and yes, I do like a lot of different music. Whatever really catches my ear" she chuckled, looking down at the electric guitar. Sliding the strap over, Dani moved the acoustic to her side as she leaned down, picking the electric up carefully and handed it to Rachel, "Just for now. It'll be easier since it's body is more slim than the acoustic." After handing a pick to Rachel, she went back to her seat and brought the acoustic back to rest on her lap. She curled her fingers around the fret board which she knew like the back of her hand. "I'm not sure if you've been taught the proper way to hold the guitar but..." she emphasized her hand, "this is how. Sort of like a bear's paw."
Rachel: Rachel nodded as Dani handed the guitar to her, paying attention on her words. "Humm no one taught me but I have seen people playing guitar during all these years going to the music school so in theory I know it", she said, being serious for the first time since she got there. It was something that her dads and teachers always said about her. Rachel could make jokes and play around but when it was time to focus she was the first to start to act extremely professional. That is why she's that talented after all, because since very young she would never let anything stop her to learn something new. "Bear's paw... okay..." she mumbled as staring to Dani's hands and then look to her own hands and trying to do the same. "Wait, let me..." Rachel got very close to Dani and tried to put her hand over hers but being aside wasn't helping her to do it perfectly. "Oh, I have an idea!". Rachel moved the guitar to Dani's lap and stood up, taking her seat with her and putting it in front of Dani. Rachel sat very close to the gilr, having her back touching Dani's chest. "Ok, I think in this way is easier because I'll be in same position as you so I can shape my hand as yours", she said as putting her hands in the fret board over Dani's. "Now, what I do with the another one?"
Dani: Dani waited patiently as Rachel tried. She knew the girl was trying at least and wasn't too far off. It was just when she was about to say something when Rachel exclaimed she had an idea. Curious, Dani watched to see what the brunette had in mind but Rachel's idea, quickly catching on to what Rachel had thought of as she came closer and tried to get it by placing her hand over Dani's. When she didn't get it still, Dani slipped the guitar from her neck when Rachel placed their seats directly in front of each other. Pushing their proximity from her mind and the feeling of Rachel's skin touching hers, Dani nodded "If it helps..." she said, hearing Rachel asking her about the next step. "Here," she spoke softly. Cautiously placing her other arm around Rachel's she placed the hand with the pick over the other brunette's, slipping the pick between the other girl's fingers and guiding it down to the strings. Dani then leaned forward, ignoring her heart that had begun to pound against her chest in order to inspect how they were holding the guitar. Gratefully, as she leaned forward, her hair slid from it's place and curtained her face which she could feel was starting to warm up. After looking at the way they were holding the guitar, Dani felt satisfied. Leaning back, fighting to keep a safe distance between them, she looked at Rachel. "You got it," she said with a huge smile, bringing her arm back to rest at her side, her other hand still encased by Rachel's.
Rachel: Rachel smiled back to Dani before look down to the strings, laughing a little bit. "But that's the easy part, I mean, place the hands is easy. Now play it..." she shook her head and turned her gaze to Dani. She was already so comfortable with the girl that she didn't notice Dani was having a hard time there. "So now what do I do?", she asked as giggling. "Is it just move your fingers up and down on the strings or? Like..." she looked down to the guitar and started to move her fingers, making a weird sound. "Okay, I don't think It was even a note, was it? Lord that's hard". Rachel looked down, kind of upset because she hated don't know how to do something. This feeling of being incapable was the worst feeling for her. "I think I need your hand here again", she said as grabbing Dani's hand and putting it on the strings. "Let's play together?", she asked as turning her eyes to Dani, giving her a big smile.
Dani: "That was not," Dani chuckled, inhaling as Rachel's hand grabbed hers. Despite not knowing whether she was blushing or not, she looked over the girl. With a smile to match Rachel's, she complied "we can, here". She placed her hand over Rachel's, her fingers mirroring how she would normally hold the pick except it was the other girl's fingers who held the pick and strummed down. A clear note rang through the air, "now that's a note." And once more she strummed, this time moving her fingers slowly in a C-Scale for Rachel to follow. A couple times she repeated this, speaking each note she played so Rachel could take it in. "Think you've got it? Or I can always go over that again," she looked over once more, meeting the other girl's eyes.
Rachel: Rachel watched their hands holding the pick, paying attention in each moviment. As Dani finished she nodded, a serious look in her face. "No, I got it". Gently she pulled Dani's hand away and strummed down, her hand mirroring Dani's. She played all the notes that Dani did a couple minutes ago, and some of them sounded a bit different of Dani's but she figured it was because she couldn't keep her hand in the right way. It bothered Rachel a little bit, so she tried over and over again, untill her the notes sounded right. It took around half hour but Rachel didn't feel like it was so long. She was so focused in the chords that she forgot Dani was there, even though they were that close to each other. Once she finished, Rachel relaxed and placed the guitar in her lap before grin to Dani, leaving her extremely concentrated posture.
Dani: Dani smiled at the girl, admiring her determination. At first she could hear the wrong notes but Rachel continued on. She didn't know how much time had passed but with each try, the notes were getting better and she lost herself in listening for each pitch. Their proximity fled from her mind and she was hearing as Rachel eventually got the right notes. "You got it," she gave the girl a toothy smile, speaking softly seeing as they were so close. "Fast learner too. Did you want to learn some more? Or...call it a day?" The brunette leaned back, relaxing against the back of the chair.
Rachel: Rachel smiled back to Dani as standing up and place the guitar where it was before Dani get it. She looked around, trying to spot her purse and once she found it, she checked the time. "Oh my God, it's late", she laughed softly and shook her head. "And then I don't want my fingers hurting like that... I'm sure I played for like one hour at least. Why didn't you stop me?", she asked as turning her gaze to Dani. Once their eyes met, Rachel smiled again and came back to her seat close to the girl. "I have to go home now - which is pretty sad - but you saw how a bad I'm on this so I'm afraid that I'll have to use my excellent teacher for a couple weeks more". With that said, the brunette leaned to kiss Dani's cheeks and grabbed her hand. "Come with me to the door?"
Dani: When Rachel mentioned the time, Dani gave a quick look at her phone and sucked in a breath of surprise as she noticed the time. It was definitely late. "Oh wow" As the other girl turned to her, their gazes Dani felt a pull in her stomach. She had just met this woman, yet she couldn't remember being struck by someone since...well, that was long over. Immediately she shook her mind away from where her train of thoughts were headed. She didn't know this girl, let alone if she even liked girls or who she was. And a big part of her didn't want to use this girl for just having sex as she had with others. For some reason, she wanted to know her more. "You seemed to be having fun, and you weren't so terrible. But you're welcome to come over and I'll do my best," Dani gave her a smile, closing her eyes with a sharp inhale as the girl drew closer to kiss her on both cheeks. A warmth immediately filled them and she realized she was blushing again. The girl's scent filled her senses which Dani found incredibly thrilling. 'Jeez girl, get a grip' she growled internally. Holding onto the other girl's hand, she nodded "Of course." Taking a few longer strides and leading the girl to the door, wondering all the while where her confidence had gone in the past few minutes. As any gentlewoman would, she walked Rachel to car, uttering a small "goodbye" before heading in and heading back into her house.
