It struck Nyssa, as the first wave of rainfall hit, that this was exactly the sort of miserable, black-dark night that she would have taken advantage of if she was planning to kill someone.
She tugged her hood more firmly in place, shielding her eyes from the sudden, vicious downpour and checked her sword in it's scabbard. Rain was not ideal for arrows, after all, and the industrial center of the city was exactly the sort of place...
For an ambush.
The rain was *loud*, but the sounds of men moving under cover of rain was familiar to her, training in exactly this sort of circumstance causing her to turn towards the first assassin before he'd quite finished his initial attack. She felt her armor part, a surge of cold rain soaking into her clothing, and just managed to duck under his follow up.
She spun in a circle and assessed her assailants with skill of long practice and decided--
There were too many, and she was surrounded.
Instinctively, she looked up, hoping for escape in that direction, but she didn't have enough time to do anything before more cam upon her.
She smiled, because she had been courting death all her life, and it was only polite to greet it cheerfully when she saw it coming.
Sylvias hair was pulled up in a simple pony tail. the white vneck shirt hung off her torso and the black ripped jeans allowed for her tanned thighs to show a bit more than normal. Sylvia was on her way home from a short shift at work when she decided to text jason. She would be lying if she said she liked living alone. She enjoyed the mans company, and why not make dinner and share a beer or two with someone?
Stopping at the store sylvia picked up two steaks, some potatoes and a can or two of baby food for Penny and trecked her way to the mans apartment. When she came to the door she knocked with her foot, not able to hold everything.
Tagging: Jason Bryar, Teammates
When: January 2nd, 2016
Where: Lacrosse Field
Notes: After a teammate makes a few comments about Jason being a submissive, a fight ensues on the field.
It had been a great lacrosse practice, despite it being a little chilly for a Saturday morning. It had been just what Jason needed to get back into the swing of things after being relatively lazy over the holidays. They had warmed up, ran, drilled, and now they were taking one on one shots against the goalie. The objective was to break past the defenseman to get a good shot on goal. This was the only time he felt any pressure to perform. He felt that because he was the only submissive on the team, he needed to go extra hard to prove he deserved his place as a 2nd line attack.
When it was his turn to try. He stepped up to the center line and scooped the ball up from the face off circle, and with a deep breath was off to do his worst against one of their largest defensive players, Carson Wilson. He cradled the ball and kept the stick tight to his body to avoid the long reach of Carsons stick, but when he went to pass him in a twirl he was met with a brutal, unexpected hip check that send him flying a good 5 feet before hitting the cold, muddy ground hard. Jason hated being made out to look weak in front of his team, especially with the exceptionally high standard he held himself to. He pushed himself up with a groan, knowing he was going to have a bruise or two from such a rough hit. It happens, it was a rough sport and Jason was in the mindset to not take it personally until Carson felt the need to take a verbal stab at him on his way back to the line.
“Damn, Bryar. I knew you were a bitch of a submissive but I thought you were tougher than that.”
Now, it had been a long week for Jason. He had gotten in trouble twice, had to scrub a parking lot full of cars and sit in unbearably long detentions, and disappointed his cousin who he admired in the process. He was done. He dropped his gloves and stick, turned around, and shoved Carson hard on the chest with enough force to cause him to stumble backwards. “Do you have a fucking problem or something?” He asked, head full of steam and hot temper flared up.
“Yeah, you’re too busy getting punished like a bitch to be of use to the team.” The other player shoved back, sending Jason stumbling before they were once again in each other’s faces, jawing and chirping, shoving and pushing. Then, Carson took a swing and punched Jason square in the cheek, under the eye, sure to leave a dark mark in the morning.
Jason didn’t miss a beat, swinging a quick jab to the brow bone and a strong, single, nasty left hook to drop the other man in one fell swoop with a grunt of rage. At least all that sparring with Michael had come in handy for something. He then went to climb on top of him and finish the job? But he felt someone much stronger pull on the back of his practice jersey, yanking him off effortlessly. “Both of you, enough. School nurse, now. Get stitched up and get this bullshit nonsense off my field. Don’t come back until you’re ready to play as a team.” Came the voice of Coach Clarington, giving them each a shove in the direction of the main hall. Jason rolled his eyes, but did as he told, his eye already starting to swell, but at least he wasn’t busted and bleeding.
Dexter was more than happy to be going on his date with Jason. After the several kisses they shared when he was at the Dilaurentis household, he'd finally admitted to himself that he liked Jason a lot more than others. Just something about he made him want more. Maybe it was all the trust that he put into him that drew him to Jason or maybe it was just the fact was extremely good looking but Dexter wondering what Jason found attractive about him.
The blonde male was still figuring what to wear on this date. Now he was dressing to impress Jason but he was actually excited for everything else this date with him hand in story. The movie was just a bonus on top of the fact he had a date with Jason. He put on his favourite blue vans and a light blue Ralph Lauren shirt with some jeans. He takes a breath mint before he walks out the door.
He makes a walk to the movie theatre where he was set to meet the older male. He has his phone in his hand as he smiles at the texts he was receiving from Jason. He was so focused on the phone that he didn't check for coming cars coming when crossing the road, which could of resulted in a number of different casualties.
When Dexter arrives, he looks around till he spots Jason. He pockets his phone as he sees him and makes a jog over to him. "Hey" He said as he leans up and pecks Jason's lips softly. "I'm actually really excited for this..weirdly enough" The blue eyed boy laughs and rubs the back of his neck.
Dexter stood at home with his house keys in his hand. He'd just agreed to meet up with Jason DiLaurentis at the coffee shop. He'd been needed to meet new people in this town, even though he was a DiLaurentis. The family with the girl who got her friends to believe she was dead, just to make a glamorous return into their lives. Messing with their heads. But that wasn't really any of Dexter's business. He was just the new guy, trying to make more and more friends. To get people on his side. Not being the freaky weird kid that moved from Texas, that's nothing like his cousin Sean who was people at the school. And who, Dexter extremely missed talking too.
He left his house with a new white shirt and a blue jean jacket as he makes his way cross town. His blue eyes somewhat shinning in the reflection of the sun and his blonde hair styled to perfect. He at least wanted to make a enough if he was going to see new people. Not look like some kind of homeless person. He shivered a little at the cold and rubs his nose. Now regretting that he didn't take another coat, wear a jumper or even to take some gloves or a scarf. But as he walks into the coffee shop, where he was set to meet Jason, he was rushed with a surge of warmth. Glad this place had good heating.
He stood in line for and got himself as muffin as well as a latté with two sugars. Just the way he liked it. He turns around as he sees the good looking older male come through the door. He couldn't help but bit his lips but he admired him exactly looking at him. Jason was taller and older than him but he'd be a great addition to any friends he was going to make. "Hi Jason" He said and sips on his coffee as he walks over to him.
Like any other Wednesday night, Cassie was sitting around doing absolutely nothing. She was watching the Olympics and eating ice cream...a complete oxymoron. Here she was, watching the world's best athletes and eating one of the most unhealthy foods (especially when it was drenched with hot fudge and whipped cream). She didn't care much though, it was her routine. She rooted for the US (except in diving...) and was just really excited for the Olympics in general.
She was in the midst of ogling Tom Daley, when she made plans with Jason to watch movies and eat Cheetos, specifically. When they made official plans, Cassie went to her pantry and got out her snacks, and then got out a few movies. She pulled out a variety of movies, Iron Man, Mean Girls, the Dark Knight, Harry Potter, and other assorted films. Cass didn't really know what movies Jason liked so she just decided on a bunch.
Cassie sat back down on the couch and waited for Jason to come. As she sat though, she realized that her house was a mess. Cass hopped up and did a speed clean of her house, where, rather than actually putting things away, she just hid them under counters and rugs. She wanted to make a good impression on Jason and didn't want him to think that she lived like a slob. When she finished 'cleaning' she plopped back on the couch and sighed, as she waited for Jason.
