🎄 for our muses to put up Christmas decorations together. 

Melody placed all of the decorations near the tree and hoped that it wouldn't look so crowded. Granted the living room was big. She sighed as she brushed back some of her hair, tucked a piece behind her ear, and started to unpack all of the decorations while she waited for Nik to join her. It was nice to spend quality family time with her little brother, since they both had been busy between school, homework, and other personal reasons. She heard footsteps right before she looked up and smiled at him. “Hey, I started to wonder if I would see you during this break.” She teased right before she pointed to an open box and slid another box towards him.

Coffee Shop Mishap || Nik & Brandon

 It was a nice day outside, just like always in sunny San Francisco. Brandon had just finished another shift driving people from one place in the city to the other end of it, and made quite a buck and a few good stories on the way. Now, to spend some of the first and write down the latter, he entered a small coffee shop he had discovered not too long ago.

The coffee shop was close to campus, so a lot of students spent their free periods studying or just hanging out, a constant humm of buzzing voices fulling the air, interlaced with the street noice comign in from the big windows looking out towards the street. Wood-paneled walls and leather chairs formed intimate seating opportunity for small groups or couples. The whole flair of this coffee shop spoke to Brandon’s senses, and as the scent of coffee, leather and textbookshe immersed himself into the menu, musing about which delicious coffee creation he should try this time.

Sea of Lovers || Kenzie and Nik

Kenzie climbed out of her king sized bed and slowly set her feet on the floor. She felt a bit light headed for some reason. Well, not for some random reason. She knew very well why she felt the way she felt at this moment and she didn't want to feel it. Part of her was screaming she was making a mistake getting so close with this boy, and another part of her screamed to keep going for it. I guess it was a case with the head vs. heart. But she didn't even know what she wanted. So she shoved everything away as usual and just went about without a thought. Like diving into a deep, dark ocean. She didn't know what was down there and she was afraid to find out. But Kenzie has been known for being reckless. Kenzie decided not to put on anything too slutty. She shook her head at herself, in awe that she actually was caring about what someone else thought. She slipped into a pair of black leggings and threw on a loose fitting, grey v neck and grabbed her coat and slipped into her shoes. She made sure the house was locked and she left a note for her parents who weren't even home at the moment and she walked out the door, grabbing her purse. Kenzie absentmindedly drove down the road and to Nik's house. She sat in her car for a moment before pulling the key out of the ignition and walking up to the door. She froze again, taking a second before she knocked. She didn't even know why she was so nervous. But she also did know. And it was scary.
