To say the least Nate has been waiting for this for years but his relationship with Sydney was fairly young, maybe that’s why there’s still a little bit of doubt in his mind. He literally knows her since they were young but being in a relationship with each other was just a few weeks old. Sure, they were going strong, he thinks that they are, he took her to eat, hide away from the world and eat take outs, those kinda stuff but today, it was different, Nate would try to take her to a place which would eventually be important to them. He’s taking her to their first date, it wasn’t that of a big deal, some people say but if you’re literally been in love with the girl since you were ten and now, she actually accepted you as more than a friend, going on the first date was a big deal. He walked back and forth, he was actually dressed quite nicely, light blue crisp polo shirt and pants that his mother even ironed the one he was wearing. He sent Sydney a message telling her that he was waiting outside her door, he didn’t press the doorbell yet, he was quite scared like he was twelve all over again.
It was rare when Colin wakes up in the morning without Emma by his side but that was what happened today. When he opened his eyes, Emma was not on his side, maybe that's why he was so restless, he was used to sleeping with her warmth right next to him so he was restless during his sleep, he wasn't sure how long Emma wasn't there, but it feels like forever. He squeezed his eyes shut before rubbing it, forcing his legs to move out of the soft and comforting bed to look for his girlfriend who might be there, somewhere. He doesn't know why but he has a bad feeling about it, like a hanging hunch that there was something wrong. Or maybe he was just being paranoid because his ex paid him a visit yesterday and he haven't told Emma about it. "Emma?" Colin called out as he turned the lights on since it was still dark outside, he wasn't sure why she was out of the bed but seeing her on the couch, all alone, he raised his brow at her, "Is everything okay? Is it your mom?" He was worried about her because there's the expression on her face whenever she was bothered and he doesn't know what was wrong.
Ben paced the length of his room, stopping to look himself over ever few minutes. He couldn't tell if his hair look flat or like it always did, if his eyes look dull or bright. Kahi had invited him to his lacrosse game, even given him a jersey to wear with his last name on it. He tugged the the hem of the sweater, noting that it fell just at the top of his thigh. The older boy wasn't that much taller then him, but the size difference was noticeable. The brunettes eyes landed on the clock, deciding that he could be early and get a better seat. He trotted down the steps, slipping on his vans while grabbing his keys. No one was home so he bid goodbye to Karma before he was out the door. Ben checked himself in his mirror before stepping out of his vehicle. He wiped his clamy palms on his pants as he made his way to the field, debating whether or not to find a seat or if he should find Kahi. The brunette went with the second, altering his course so he'd go through the school past the locker rooms. He patiently waited by the doors to the field, hoping to catch the other on his way out to wish him good luck. After about fifteen minutes players began filtering out, all giving him a second glance as they left. He felt small under their stare, but he squared his shoulders and watched for the older boy to come. Ben spotted Kahi, giving a shy smile as he waved him over. The brunette tugged his long sleeves over his palms, he'd warn an extra layer under the jersey to protect himself from the fall air.
Jaxon eyes scanned the crowd, after being in the school for a little less than a month, he already recognized some students especially those he thought that were closest to the President's son, Max. Thinking about Max, Jaxon looked for him in the crowed, he was there, with Brooke, and she was smiling. The last few weeks, she was working closely with him while Jax was at the back, making sure that everything was alright, that there's no immediate danger to Max, he was practically in the background, following them around and making sure that no one was lurking around them. It was better that way, he didn't have to work closely with Max, he was never good with interacting with people anyways. He was better off doing things by himself though working with Brooke proved that he can actually count on somebody and that person would only be Brooke. He looked at them one more time, and how her eyes would twinkle when he was talking to her, he doesn't know if it's all an act or whatever but he couldn't deny the fact that the President's son was charming, he can make girls fall in love with him in a snap of his fingers, adding to his charm was his status, who doesn't want to be the President's son's girlfriend right? Jax noticed that Brooke and Max had gotten pretty close in the last few weeks, Max doesn't really have a large number of friends, there was Casey, who he seems to be closest and there are a handpicked people in the school too so maybe Brooke was someone he can talk about things he can never talk to other people because they wouldn't understand. But whatever the reason behind it, Jax has got to admit, he was not comfortable with it. He let out a soft sigh as some girl gave him a red cup, by the looks of it, they were serving liquor on a school party which was supposed to be prohibited but Jax doesn't want to be a party pooper, he was a acting as a normal student anyways so he accepted the cup, gave her a small smile before sipping. His eyes would always focus back to them, trying to catch Brooke's attention to tell her that everything seems clear.
para; the mighty sour patched house of rainbows // fleur & lulu
Fleur was a mess; or, at least her parlour was. The colourful gummies were spread around her as she built the base of the house, sticky sugar splattered about the room, empty boxes with their foam peanuts thrown everywhere. Frankly, the entire house was beginning to smell of diabetes. "Sorry, Rosie..." She cringed, knowing the maid would be in for a whole lot of work.
The chime of her phone told Fleur that Lulu had arrived. Reading the messages, she looked up, to see the brunette approaching, so as any other good friend would do, Fleur flung a few sour patch kids at her.
Need You Now || Para - Faberry 1x1
The only thing that saved her sanity was that the train ride was less than two hours long. Thanks to the allowance her parents sent her twice a month, Rachel was able to afford a last minute ticket to New Haven. Between thinking about her newly discovered pregnancy and worrying about the only friendship she ever cared about probably being over, she spent the train ride a wreck. A socially acceptable wreck, but a wreck at that. All she needed was for Quinn to be home. Everything else, she could work on, but the girl needed to at least be there.
Finding her way to Quinn’s was easy. She had visited enough and heard enough about the area that she could probably find her way in her sleep. Her two suitcases, backpack, and purse made her look like the ultimate tourist, but she didn’t care. When she got there and knocked, there was no answer. Either she wasn’t home or she was and just not answering.
“Quinn, it’s Rachel.” No answer. “I know I screwed up when you came to see me but.. I need you.”
Still nothing. She couldn’t leave; this was the only place she could go. Setting all of her bags down, Rachel slumped so that she was sitting on the floor. Quinn either had to leave her room or come home sooner or later. She could wait.
