Tristain opened his arms to welcome Jasper while they situated themselves on his lap. Once the other was comfortable, the Dominant wrapped an arm around Jasper’s waist before taking one of their hands in his own. Pressing a kiss to his partner’s nose, Tristain gave a small shrug before replying. “I’ve been thinking about a few different things. I wouldn’t mind trying to take some small steps towards some kind of routine. Maybe just at night?” He said, his tone inquisitive and gentle, knowing this wasn’t the kind of thing Jasper would respond well to if he made it sound too much like an attempt at instituting a total D/s lifestyle. “For both of us, I mean. Stuff we could do together. Getting good sleep is important, and I just think there are some things we could be doing more regularly to make that easier, you know?” @subbae

Tristain’s brow furrowed further as he read the text from Jasper, and he wasted no time in doing exactly what he’d promised he would. Stepping into the hallway, the Dominant leaned against his doorway, continuing the conversation as he awaited his boyfriend’s arrival. It hurt him, knowing that Jasper felt so unsteady at the moment, obviously shaken by something that had happened, or come up. Tristain had hoped that revealing his wish for the other to stay with him on a permanent basis would help those feelings, and while he could tell it did, he could also tell there was still something there, lingering at the edges of the conversation. As Jasper’s figure approached Tristain righted himself, moving to meet his partner halfway between them, immediately pulling the other into a deep, long hug. “My sweetheart.” He breathed, pressing a kiss to Jasper’s cheek, then forehead, then nose, then lips. Cupping the others’ cheeks in his palms, Tristain studied their expression, the concern obvious on his face. “First thing’s first...Are you alright?” @subbae

While he awaited Jasper’s arrival, Tristain paced back and forth across his living room, chewing his lower lip while trying to formulate how to say what he wanted to say. Before he knew it, Tristain heard a knock on his door, and rushed to open it. The moment the Dominant laid eyes on his boyfriend, he stepped over the threshold and into the hallway, scooping Jasper into his arms and practically carrying them inside. “I’ve missed you, my sweetheart. Let me look at you- you are gorgeous. How are you feeling? I’m happy you’re here.” @subbae​

It had taken Tristain some time to pull together exactly what he wanted for his first date with Jasper, though after several hours it was finally done. He paced in front of his dorm hall nervously, awaiting the submissive’s arrival. Finally, he saw the other approaching, and a large grin spread across his face. “Jasper, hey!” The Dominant greeted, stepping forward to pull the other into a large hug. “It’s great to see you again! I’m glad you came!” Biting into his lower lip, he did his best to steady his nerves, and to appear as cool and collected as he was certain his brother would have. “I...Hope you’re hungry. I have a car waiting for us, to start the evening. Are you ready?” @subbae​

Glancing at the watch on his wrist, Tristain took note of the time- 11:55 AM. His eyes turned to the door of his suite, and he turned back to the task at hand, pouring the brownie batter into the baking pan. Once he’d made sure everything was level and smooth on top, he turned to the preheated oven and slid the pan in, closing the door gently before righting himself. Just as he decided to have a seat on his couch, a knock at the door drew him. Opening the door, Tristain took a deep breath before putting on a smile. “Hey! Jasper! You made it!”  @subbae​

They’d shown up high. 

They’d had a few drinks.

And now some sort of insane show was happening and Kia couldn’t concentrate worth a damn. He was slumped against Jasper’s side. His left wing wrapped around his lover loosely as they play went on and on. It seemed to drag out and then speed up really fast and for no reason at all. His head kept swimming back to Jasper and how distractingly pretty he was. Especially in the low light of the evening. The shadows of the crowd cast such nice shadows across his face. 

Someone died?

A loud laugh slipped out of Malakiah’s throat as he looked to Jasper. “Dumb bitch. Probably deserved it.” He giggled out, bright blue eyes scanning past Jasper. “Think we can get out of here?” He asked nodding towards a car parked not to far away. “We could fuck in there? Or behind there?” Kia suggested with a raised eye brow. He wasn’t even trying to be quiet at this point. He thought he heard someone shush him but he was far to invested in what Jasper was gonna say.

While Kia was not exactly jumping to return to Jaspers place after freaking out and vomiting last time he was there, he was excited to see Jasper again. For the past couple of days, Malakia had been hiding out on his own. He had needed the time to heal both mentally and physically from what had gone on with Lan. Of course, he’d been texting with Jasper the whole time. Bugging him over the phone if only so he wouldn’t forget about Kia. When everything had settled out and the feeling of missing Jasper had grown unbearable, Kia invited himself over. Well, he suggested it and got the go ahead from Jasper. Thank god. 

Waiting till Jasper was off work at the Bloom, Kia walked his way to the Fae’s place. Landing lightly on his doorstep, he fluttered his wings. Let them stretch out and then folded them against his back. While Kia’s place was built with his wings in mind, Jaspers was not. Letting them flop around wasn’t the best idea while inside at least. Knocking twice, Kia tried the door knob and pushed his way inside. “Listen, I know you missed me terribly.” Kia started as he walked in and kicked off his boots. “Truth is, Tiger,  I missed you too. But if we can skip the peasantries and get right into the good shit, that’d be great!” He nearly chirped as he walked into the others home.

Kane & Jasper & Quentin - Wolf vs Tiger: Round One

It wasn’t normal for Kane to sleep in but he’d found himself more at home in Quentin’s apartment than anywhere else. Besides that, they weren’t exactly going to sleep early these days. He hadn’t meant to sleep so long that he missed Quentin getting up and ready for work before heading down. In fact, when Kane did wake up it was only because the sun started to hit his eyes and face. Streaming in through the curtains. He’d been a bit confused when he found Quen gone but less so upon learning it was near noon. 

Rolling out of bed, the wolf made a pot of coffee, brushed his teeth, showered and dressed before heading down to the Bloom with an extra cup for Quen. He hadn’t expected to find anyone else but his Fae working behind the front desk but when his eyes landed on a pale, red head, Kane realized that was a stupid assumption to make. His eyes narrowed for a moment as he looked the other over. Quentin had told him he only had one other employee. Jasper. The man who belittled, and degraded Quen. Gave him drugs and then vanished. 

“Quentin ‘round?” Kane asked making himself known to this stranger he already had a distaste for. He placed the coffee cups on the front desk away from the other man. “Mus’ be Jasper, right?” He asked knowing he had to be sure that this was the guy. That he wasn’t about to attack the wrong person. The last thing Kane needed was to lash out at some poor guy that Quentin had just hired or something. Even though he held back his anger for the time being he could feel it bubbling just under his skin. A heat. Burning and twisting had started to form as he thought about Quen wondering around the streets at night while high. Fucker was gonna regret that. Kane would be damn sure of it.
