It was a bright, beautiful, sunny day. Way too beautiful to stay indoors and sign papers all day, that was a given--so Sinbad decided to take a walk around the palace. If Ja'far had caught him on his leisurely stroll, then his excuse would be "But I'm just checking on the palace to see if every is in order! After all, that is but one of the many duties of a king, right?!"
...
Of course, he had hoped he wouldn't need to use that excuse--in other words, he didn't want to run into Ja'far. I doubt he'd even buy the excuse.
Sinbad was taking his walk around the palace when he saw Pisti with a flock of animals in the central garden. It's been awhile since the two of them had a normal chat; thanks to Al Sarmen's recent activity, he--and the eight generals--hadn't had the time to chat like the good old days.
He made his way over to them with a smile. "Ah Pisti, might I join you or...?" He gave a warm smile, "Are you busy?"
