Writing Prompt

I need some inspiration, so I'm giving you all a writing prompt... (that actually works, lol.) it's an altered scene in one of my own original stories I have begun to write. I wanna see what you all do with it: A restless hand plays a discordant beat on the hand of a chair. A shuffle of a pair of feet. A cough breaks the hushed silence. The suddenness of the sound causes the young man sitting alone at the front of the room to start in his chair. With a shake of his head, he settles back down. Another glance at the clock that loudly proclaims its existence with each movement of its hands, and the young man seemed to slouch more and more over the small table he sits behind. Tearing his eyes away, they rest on the stand he is to wait behind while his judgment is served, standing empty and taunting before him. Sounds of nervousness echo through the restless hall. A bouncing knee. A baby wiggles, and making discomforted sounds. A man fiddles with the edge of his coat. A woman steadies her child with a stern look and a hand to their shoulder. Turning, the young man bends an ear to the overheard whispered conversation behind him...
