Paradigm Drift run.
Left: Matla. I still see her in the military, but wanted to play with the color streaks theme. Also played with having no line art at the end of the picture.
Middle: Zydras, who is ridiculously pale, but it seems to work, really. Sniper of some kind, just not sure where.
Right: Set of twins who are both capable of snark, but mean well. Wasn’t sure whether they’d be V 2 or 3, and just how cynical they’d be, though the one not upside down’s likely to be the more verbally cynical, while upside-down’s cynicism is more likely to show in deeds. Noodling around for names for them.
All four are translates from other character incarnations. : 3
”Surprise sibling-selfie! Morning, Ricci, smile!”
Vivace Crescendo was Capriccio’s (Tempster’s) big sister. Older by two years, she was a prodigy with the piano and guitar, and taught Capriccio how to play as a child. The two of them sang a lot together and enjoyed their time together. Morning from two floors down was often around; the only child often visited, to the point that they all called each other siblings.
Vivace was vibrant, beautiful and expressive. She loved sharing music and considered it a blessing and a means of communication; music was a language in and of itself. She taught Capriccio how to ‘hear’ the language, explaining how she heard it and helping him grow his own passion for music, despite their mother’s insistence on studying the sciences.
Even with their mothers’ expectations, the children were very close and pretty happy. Vivace doted on her little brother, taking care of him and often taking him out. She was always very adoring, and most of Capriccio’s friends adored Vivace. She did have some doormat tendencies, but was in general very sweet and the children were adoring.
Which made the accident that much harder.
They were on their way to school when the accident happened; the driver hit the side of the vehicle 11-year-old Vivace was riding on. 9-year-old Capriccio snapped to after the noise and chaos stopped, and tried to find his sister, struggling with shock and concussion from his own wounds. It was much too late for Vivace though. She was gone.
Tempster has never dealt with death well. He still has scars from his first experience. He has worked through things with therapy, but still struggles with the concept of death. This is why, not that he talks about it much. My poor dumb baby.
