I sketched and drew this in response to a ‘Villain’ prompt. The base idea was to modify a character/OC into a villain. One part was to go for the one that was least likely to be a villain- and in one sense, this guy is it. Even as there’s a road that would have made him a villain with little to no trouble (<a href=“http://toranekohybrid.tumblr.com/post/151914291176/aaahhahaahah-that-rattails-gonna-sneak-in-there“>read: AU where he was a bandit</a>.)
This version of a villain came from a years-long RP in the Mega Man world. That story plot was walking a road where a Human Council overseeing the Maverick Hunters was about to enact politics that would rip whatever rights the Reploids had out from under them, and Maki wasn’t sitting for it. So he put together a plan that was very. Very. drastic.
As much as he could, he avoided killing or damage to places, but in order to convince everyone he was seriously doing what he was doing (though he was masking just Who he was), there would be some who died, some places ruined and demolished.
Afterward, because the plan was to lose, he would go into hiding and do his best to not be found again. This is a shot of him in hiding afterward, in something approaching a home. Because I couldn’t get a set design for what he’d look like in ‘villain’ mode besides as Fahn in the AU.
