sunrays of warmth fill into my soul, summer’s breeze stolen by the trespassing heavy grey clouds that dampen my horizon…droplets turn into an ocean of cries that are met with sickening silence

the heat, scorching 

trains, thundering by

i lay on cut grass ,prickling,

silence, the birds chirp

The constant state of darkness soothed me, locked in this soundless room with paranoia being my companion…

The salvation I desperately sought, the higher power or ‘god’ us fragile mortals call for in the hopes that some being in the vast vacuum of space would reach out and hear our prayers, was evidently a false hope.

In reality, there is no higher power, there is no ‘being’ hearing our prayers, there is only us.
