Travel via fairy ring 🍄🧚

I made a version of this in the sims 3 a while back and decided I really wanted to make one for Paralives too!

With this mod you can place down mushroom fairy rings and your paras can use them to travel around town.

They can be found under Decor > Plants, and don't forget to turn on the TOGGLEEDITTOWN cheat to place them outside your home lot.

*Optional*: After placing one down you can also click the edit text button to add a 1-2 character reference to name the location. The text will appear in the top-left of the mushroom cards when you're deciding which location to travel to.

This system is copied off of the bus system, except it's 100x cuter and travelling is free 🍄

Mod: Edit Restaurant Food (& Paintings)

I've been doing some snooping around in the Paralives modding tools and found a little checkbox to enable showing item skins. Turns out this button lets you swap out the restaurant food for sale item!

Using the TOGGLEEDITTOWN cheat you can click on any Restaurant Food For Sale item and swap the meal out using the pencil icon in the menu.

You can also search for the Restaurant Food For Sale item in the catalog, or access it from the Kitchen Clutter category (I have retagged it so you don't require a debug items mod to purchase it).

The mod also lets you swap out any painting - just click on one and use the pencil icon to change it to a painting of your choice.

Just note that not all the item skins for the Restaurant Food For Sale item are intended for use yet. There are beverages like coffee and smoothies which look delicious - but paras will sit down to eat them with a fork. There's also a handful of books that show up here, so unless you want your para to chow down on a science book, I recommend not selecting these 😜

How to customise your own secret passages in Paralives

Seems like nobody had figured out how to set a custom exit for secret passageways yet so I worked it out myself!

You will need:

Place down one of the passage objects from Debug > Functionality > Travel

2. Click on the passage object and then click on the pencil icon with a super long name that includes the words Fast Travel

3. This tool similar to the advanced transform tool pops up. Move that to where you want the passage to exit, and then hide it by toggling the advanced transform tool.

In Live Mode you should now be able to click on the passage object and have your Para go through it. They will then teleport to the position you set using the transform tool thing.

Once your passageways are set you can uninstall my mod. It's only required for setting up the exit(s).

Diamond Rings Are More Expensive

If you didn't know already, you can order a diamond ring over the phone or computer and propose with it in Paralives, but it only costs 100 paradimes which I thought was a bit too low.
