Well, there hasn't been an update for a while it seems. In our workplace, one man broke his ankle, another got the fever after a holiday and one quitted the job so our workload increased greatly, forcing all of us to work overtime. We've been just living the life for now and tried to make the best of our free time and unfortunately it hasn't included updating this Tumblr and because of that some moments that I'd like to cherish are going to fade. Well, that's past us anyway so let's not dwell on that. On with the show!
Last week's saturday Telk decided that we (he) should go into a bar. It went mostly well, he got hit on by women a bit, had 2 of them apparently give him their number and past that there is a great hole in all of our memory until the next morning when he woke up with the most terrible hangover. The mouth felt like it was burned and Shai became suspicious. She rummaged through the coat's pockets and found a receipt of a cigar. Needless to say, she was mad. Telk promised her that if he ever got caught again trying to smoke a cigar, he'd stop switching indefinitely. I decided that this was a good idea and swore to do the same if I ever speeded purposefully on my car.
One day the next week I decided that I should use the body for a change so I wouldn't lose all my connections in the real world. During a coffee break I heard some weird engine noise and flapping sound. I couldn't find a general direction for it and there was this feeling that it was generated inside my head. I looked outside of the window and a helicopter hovered there. Inside the cockpit I saw both Shai and Telk looking straight at me, both of them wearing the same blankface Shai had back when she used to troll me everyday. I had a really hard time not spewing my coffee all over the window when I saw it.
I was woken up at noon for a family meeting. Nothing much to say about it, We went there, ate some food (Shai was feeling sleepy but she woke up instantly when she noticed that the cake had bananas in it and ended up trying some) and watched television. Nothing interesting until the drive back home started. We sat on the back seat with my big sister and she gave her other ear plug to me so I could listen to music with her. I had my bluetooth handsfree on and was already listening to music from my phone. I decided to keep my own music on but still took the plug my sister was offering, thinking that I'd listen to the song that I liked more. Then, an epiphany struck me. We could use this to train parallel processing!
I went to our wonderland house to start a session. Shai was in her room, Telk was in the Tardis. I noticed that Telk had already caught on what I was thinking when he opened the door, the music from my phone blasted through and he was dressed up as a teenager with long hair dyed black. He was wearing some metal band's t-shirt and he moshed to the song while making the devil sign with his hand. I tried to stop laughing but I just couldn't. After a good while of me rolling on the floor holding my ears and crying from laughing too much, Telk changed back to his usual form of The Doctor. I told him to keep on the good work and he gave me thumbs up and slammed the door shut.
I went to Shai's room next and told her what we were trying to achieve. She said: "Okay, it should be easy because we already do it all the time." She pushed a button on her laptop (with her hoof, someday I'll go insane trying to figure that out) and the music from my right ear started playing in her room. I switched back into the body and tried to see both of them at the same time, and ended up imposing Shai while seeing Telk in the wonderland. Shai had some fuzzy earmuffs while she danced to her song and Telk possessed my left hand and started tapping to the beat of his song.
After a good 10ish minutes we all became accustomed to it so I stepped it up a notch. I started looking straight ahead through the drivers headrest, imposing the road it blocked from my vision until I saw it as well as the part that was running past. We managed to keep this up for a full 45 minutes, then we arrived back home.
All in all, this day was a huge success. We'll keep on having these sessions more than anything now, because like this we can concentrate on improving several things at once compared to the usual inefficient one.
