honestly i’ve never listened to much music at any given time, i’ll go weeks without doing so at all without being aware of it? i never look for new stuff bc i just don’t enjoy most things, it’s gotta give me this specific sensory feeling or have some prior personal significance, and it’s not worth the trouble since i’ve never cared much abt music (altho i DO have some of my dad’s predisposition and can learn songs really quickly on instruments i’ve never used? but like my art skills it’s a wasted talent) so i can’t offer any great and enlightened recommendations..
basically the handful of artists i keep on my ipod are ones i’ve had for years, like they might be giants have been a favorite since like 2003....aside from them uuhhhh i listened to the white stripes a lot in my adolescence i guess and saw them in concert over a decade ago so they have a special place in my heart....oh in high school i loved this french power metal band heavenly bc the dude’s voice was super amazing and he had a crazy vocal range??.......i listened to lots of 1D for a few years and saw them in concert too in 2014....idk much more of my past band history -___- obviously mcr is my number 1 lol
and despite the fact that my brand is early 2000s emo like 75% of what i listen to now is eminem but i’m allowed to do that bc i’m a lesbian. i cannot in all good conscience recommend my fav album relapse (2009) so don’t consider this me recommending relapse (2009)
