zac face frowned as we all looked at zac shooked
"uhhh ive never had sex with zac" hayley said
"noo! I mean ashley!" zac said as joshs face went abck to normal

'woah wait a minute! you said you never dated ashley!" hayley said to josh

zac akawrdly walked away to his bunk yelling goodnight as the rest of the guys did beside josh who sat on the other cocuh. I was going to get up but hayley was still on my lap.
We sat there in silence till josh finally spoke up
'what were you going to say?" josh asked
She looked at her slippers as she spoke
"i was going to you said i was your first but you and ashley had to ahve hooked up before we dated meanign i wasnt your first" hayley said quitely
'um i think im gonna go uhh clean my phone" i said trying to get up but hayley kept me down

I pulled myself from underneath hayley and quickly walked away . that was one of the most akward things id ever been in. I walked to the backroom as taylor played softly on his guitar back there

i climbed in after her as i looked at her wall decorations. it was scattered with pictures of me adn her adn josha dntaylora dn zac and jerm adn kat adn dakotah and other friends adn ehr family. Along with some cool fan art. I laid facing the top of the bunk. I felt hayleys hands wrap around my body as i reluctantly plled her closer.

I couldnt sleep still and it was arounf 3 am and ontop of that hayleys phone kept vibrating. i finally checked it. an alarm was going off and she had gotten some text messages. I stopped not sure whether should open them or not... i closed out the alarma dn the textmessage alert popped up ssaying she had 3 new messages from josh. i closed it putting it in her side pocket of her bunk and got out the bunk quitely. I ended up stepping on somthing sharp i yelped quitely hopping on one leg as i went to the backroom.
"hayley? is that you?"i heard josh asked
I stopped as he came out shocked that it was me.
'nope not hayley" i said continueing to hop as my foot throbed.
"ooh uh sorry" he said about to leave then caught sight of my foot.
I sat down finally as i put my hand on the bottom of my foot. I felt a wet substance all over but befoer i looked down josh ran voer to me
'are you okay?!" he asked
I looked at him confused then looked at my foot. it was drenched in blood as i relaized i had stepped on a broken peice of glassthat had been left out. It was then that the pain hit me. i bit my lip as i tried to stop the bleeding but it hurt as i pushed down on it.
"let me go get you some napkins" josh said running to thebathroom. When he got back he wiped off the blood as i winced in pain.
"whys there glass in the hallway?" i asked
"the guys dropped some glass i geuss they didnt clean it up all the way" he siad still trying to get the immense amount of blood off my foot.He pressed down where i though the glas cutt me and i screamed in pain then quickly covered my mouth as he apoligized a million times. All the guys came running through to the backroom simotaniously taylor first then hayley and jerm and zac
'whats going on?" hayley asked then looked at my foot
"jesus waht happened?!" taylor asked coming closer to my still bleeding foot
"i think she scraped her foot on a peice of glass." josh said as i bit into a pillow.
"wait waht glass?" jerm asked
"the one you broke!" zac said
"zac i told you to clean that up!" jerm said
"no i told you to clean it up!" zac argued back
"so neither of you cleaned it up at all?" hayley asked
"he was supposed to!" jerm said
"you dropped it bro!" zac said
"fuck! you guys its probobly still in her foot!" taylor said as he picked me up in a quick scoop
"where are you taking her?" hayly asked
"we need to wipe off all the blood to see if we can get it out" taylor said carrying me to the bathroom.
He put my foot in the sink as all the blood ran off then started again. He had josh look at it carefully as taylor held me up. I felt josh touch my foot and i winced pushing my head into taylors hest.
i felt him hug me tighter
"itll be alright rach" he whispered as i held onto his shirt tightly
"dude i think we need to take ehr to the hospital. theres way too many pieces longed in it. and it wont stop bleeding" josh said
"alright someone go start the van" taylor said as he carried me to the kitched grabbing a roll of paper towels. He carried me to teh car evreyone following as hayley touched my back softly.
"Are you arlight?" she asked but i didnt respong my foot was thumping with pain.
We arrived at the hospital in what seemed like forever but i was ammitted as the doctors tried to stop the bleeding. wed ran out of paper towels on teh way there. They took me into a white room where they put my put on a high platter-like thing and washed it off.
'theres alotta peices in there pretty deep" one said
"were going to need to put her under tot ake em out hopefully not disrupting any nerves" one said to taylor who was standing right over
"im guessing your her boyfriend?" he asked him
'uhh.. No.. im just a friend " he said nervously as hayley said "what do you need us to do?"
"well we need someone to sign off for her bill and permission to do the surgery." the doctor said. everything seemed fuzzy as i looked around
"is it a like a dangerous surgery?" taylor asked
"no not at all the worst that could happen is not doing the surgerya dn seh looses too much blood or rupcuring a nerve, whose gonna sign off for her?" he asked
Hayley and taylor looked at one another.
they both walked over to me
"rach whihc of us do you want to sign off for you?" hayley asked wiping my hair from my face
I took a deep breathe and said "jsut sign the damn thing"
In saw taylor smile slightly as he handed hayley the paper she signed it and handed it back tot he doctor. They took me into a room where i fell asleep. When i woke up taylor was sitting in a chair watching me as hayley slept laying on joshs ar and zac and jer were sitting on the floor asleep.
taylor walked oveer to me slowly
"hey" he said
'hey" i said a little groggily
I tried to move my foot but it was restained as i felt a slight jolt of pain run through my body
'you cant move it doctors orders. Your not allowed to be on that foot at all for a couple weeks. It ends up you had about 4 little glass peices in you foot and one long 4 inch glass loged diagonally through your foot, it partiaclly severed one of your nerves so it should be pretty apinful." he siad
"great" i said leaning up a little to look at my foot. It was wrapped in a large gauze
"ohh and your gonna have to wear a foot cast thing and either use a wheel chair or crutches till it heals" tyalor said
"but what about the tour?" i asked
"i i dont know yet" he siad
"uhhh i should havenever gotten up" i said
"ohh chill it was the guys fault for nt cleaning it up." tay said
"yeah but i got up when i coulda jsut slept. i got up becuase hayley and josh..."i started to say but hayley moved on joshs arm causing me to stop midsentece. josh woke looking at me as he walked over.
"well talk about it alter" taylor said scooting over for josh to talk to me

'hows your foot?" he asked
"well all i know is i better get some pain kilelrs becuase it hurts like hell" i said looking back at my foot
"Haha well make sure you get some." he said as haley groggily walked over

"alright smartass. hows your foot?" hayley asked
'hurts, but ill be fine says doctor taylor over yonder" i said as we all laughed
"jsut doing ma job ma'am" he said pretending to tip his head
"haha wow taylor you know thats what police officers say not doctors right?" i said
'pshh im a police officer doctor. you can call me officer delanko." he said
"haha isnt that from some movie?" hayley asked
"shh!" he said as we all alughed. the doctor came in after everyone had woken up. They pu y in a wheelchair as hayley and jerm fought over who would pay the bill.
'its my fault partically i should pay" jerm said
"jerm its fine i got it" hayley said
I rolled over to the counter and handed the nrse my credit card
"no rach it wasnt your fault you dont have to pay" jerm said taking mycredit card from the lady and handing her his credit card
'i dont care who pays i jsut wanna go get mpain medication and go to sleep" i said as they both mriked at me. Jerm paid as we headed out to the car. taylor delicately picked me up and put me in the passangger seat as he drived. We got to the bus where tom our tour manager was waiting
'i called 12 times where the hell have yall been?!" he asked josh as he stepped out the car first. josh ignored him grabbing my wheel chair and opened the door for me as i tried to get in but couldnt. josh lifted me up and set me in my wheel chair as we ajusted the leg rest so it was more comfortable.
"Rachel what happened?!" tom asked walking over to me
"steped on some glass" i said
'she messed up soem nerves in her foot so she has to stayoff it for awhile" taylor said walkign beside me
"what about the tour?" tom asked
"i think i can still perform" i said as the rest of the people lasughed
"rach oul be screamign all sorts of things if you accidently hit it on something i think you should just stya back stage till tis at laest a little better" hayley said putting an arm around my neck
"not backstage! cmon please!" i begged
"hmm i think we cold amek this as parart of our benifit." tom said rubbing his chin "we can roll rach out on stage halfway through the perfornace into the red couch adn she canplay then well explian things right before we bring her out. people will lvoe it" tom siad
'as long as i can play" i said
"arlgith then you gusy better go get ready your first shows in 3 hours" tom said walking away
"hmm wheres the cruches?" i asked taylor as he was about to pick me up 'its fine your not heavy or anything" he said
"yeah but i hate yall having to carry me around" i said
"you can try it but if not your getting carried around whether youliek it or not" tay;lor said grabbing my crutches. he helped me to one foot. i winced as i moved my foot. he reached to pick me up but i stoped him grabbing onto my crutches. I tried to walked and as i moved forward swinging my leg forward I stopped wincing in apin
"told ya" taylor said picking me up
"oh shut up and jsut carry me" i said as we both laughed
I got onto the bus as i picked out an outfit that i could easily slip into.
"hey hayley!" taylor yelled as hayley apperaed her make up and hair done but still wearing her clothes from eariler
"come help Rachel get dressed" he said as he set me down in the back room closing the door behind himself
"you need some help babe?" she asked
"well see" i said taking my shirt off as i pulled on a longsleeved shirt. next i ahd to take off my shorts. I slid it off my right foot then hayley helped me get it off softly off my hurt left foot.
"you sure you dont need help with a shower or anything?" hayley asked
'are you trying to say i stink?" i asked
"well that and i wouldnt mind helping you in the shower" she said kissing my lips softly
I laughed and said 'sure why not but i gottahave someone get me to the bathtub" i said
"taylor!" hayley yelled as taylro apperaedin seconds
"woah my bad" tyalor said tunring around as i remeberd i was in only underwear and a shirt. "oh relax" i said as he slowly turned around
"can you take me to teh shower. hayley says i stink" i said as we both laughed
"sure" he said walking over as he scooped me up again as he laughed at my comment
"ohh my hero" i said in a high pitched girl voice
"yeahh im a knioght in shinning armor" he said as hayley follwed behind us. He took me inside the bathroom setting me on the singk. He sarted me a bath as hayley waited.
"alright hwo exsactly are we gunna do this?" taylro asked as he stopped the water.
i thought for a moment then slipped my shirt off and wrapped a towen around mytorso
'just set me in" i said as he picked me up and set me inside then got out closing the door. When the door clsoed i took off the drenched towel and handed it to ahyley who went and put it in the dryer. I slippped off my under wear putting them on the floor as i laid back. haleyw alekd back in.
'wella re you going to join me?" i asked her I saw a small smile apperar
"wont it hurt your foot?" she asked
"this is a very large bathtub hayley and your very tiny im sure we can make it work." i said looking up at her as i dipped me head underwater
'plus i need someone to help get me back" i said as she palced a large plastic bag over my foot that hung out of the bathtub. she took her shirt off along with ehr other clothing then slipped in beside me. i smiled leaning over as i kissed her softly she kept pulling away though
'whats wrong?" i asked her as i leaned more into the water
"i jsut.. I dont wanna hurt you" she said with her arms aorund my waist.

"hey do you wanna grab me a bra and udnerwear?" i asked hayley as we walked pst my bunk
'sure" she said going into my bunk where i had everything. taylor carried me to the couch then gave me another dry towel.
"thanks tay" i said as he left
'no problem" he said as hayley walked back in her hands behind her back til taylor closed teh door.
"how come you never waear these?"hayley asked holding up some lingrae
"haha because theyre not mine" i said
"what?? noo they are i got em for you for christmas well part of your christmas gift" seh sasid throwing them at me
"and i got a mtachign bra too" she said handing me it
I rolled my eyes "ill wear em jsut for you" i said finishign drying off and slipped off the plastic. i pulled the underwear on and then put ont eh bra as i put on the rmy shirt and got my sweat pants halfway up.
'uhh i need to get up to finish pulling these up" i siad forwning
"josh!" hayley yelled
He came in

'will you pick rach so she can pull her pants on?" hayley asked
"sure" he said walking over he lifed me up softly thoguh not as softly as taylor and i pulled my pants on fully and softyly. he carried me to the front room where everyone was and i left my hair down. i put some moose in it and then left it alone as it was still wet

'hey" i said putting one shoe on.
"hows your foot? does it hurt?" he asked
'umm its starting too which reminds me i need to take another pill for my foot" i said as zac went upa dn grabbed the bottle and a glass of water. he ahdned them too me as i took too of my medicene and a gulp of water.
'thanks" i said as taylro walked out the bathroom completely dressed
"looking good hotshot" i said as he laughed sitting beside me
"how mcuh time till we leave for sound check?" i asked him
"when hayley finishes her hair and makeup were leaving" taylor said jsut as hayley walked out
'what about me?" she asked
"nothing. comon were leaving" josh said as taylor picked me up gently. he placed em in my wheelchair outside as they rolled em to the stage where we did sound check adn praticed what was going to happen. We did about 12 diffrent times till we had o go backstage as the fans were being let in. When everyone played and there wasan intermission to set up the stage for us we all stood in the back waiting.
"are you sure you can play?" hayley asked me as she sat on the couch next to me. I kissed her cheek softly
"babe i got this" i said strumming on the guitar sitting on my lap. i had sjut taken my pain meds and they should be kicking in soon and i was only playing the last three songs sadly but two of them i wrote. She hugged me quickly before walking on stage with the other guys. they all patted me ont eh back or huged me as they walked on stae. they played 10 songs then hayley began to talk.
"im guessing you guys have probobly noticed rach isnt here with us. well she is actaully but due to an accident she wasnt able to play for a long period of time. but becuase she loves you all so much she begged to come play so these last songs she is gonna play from our awesome red couch" hayley asid as the backstage people picked up the couch iwas sitting on and brought it onstage. i felt a little weird always being carried around but it wasnt really the time. the crowd started clapping and yelling as i got onstage. i pulled a electric guitar on as they brought me a mic.
"hey! hwos everyone doing?!" i asked
"well as you heard im forbidden to really actually pplaying but i had to be ehre to play for yall" i said as they cheered
"and then again rach ahs always been somewhat of a rulebreaker" hayley said into her mic as everyone laughed. She walked over and touched my leg softly
"well anyways i messed up my foot and cant really get around too well so me and this couch are going to be best friends but anyways on twith the show" i said
"Well im honored to play these Last songs. Two of which were written by Rach, and its the first time were every played so without further ado lets go" hayley said as we began to play

"but like i said im a rulebreaker so i think i jsut might stay for this one! hows that sound?" i asked as everyone began to scream. Hayley shot me a look but i stayed and counted as we began to play misery buissness. We got to the bridge where josh's solo was and hayley called a guy up on stage.
"you know the words right?" she asked as we played teh music

She laughed as she pulled away slightly from his hug

"yeah yeah im fine adn its alright" i saiod my foot still throbbing
"thank you guys!" hayley yelled as they closed the curtain then ran over to me notcing all the guys surrounding me
"are yous ure im really sorry i didnt know.." jacob said
"jacob its fine chill" i said with a little strain in my voice. In reality i wanted to scream my foot was in so much pain but i didnt want him to feel worse than he already did. 'great job out there" hayley said then noticed th pained expression on my pain

"guys im fine i promise" i said as they brought me my wheelchair. taylor helpd me into it as i rolled over to jacob on the toher side of teh stage. "hey jacoob" i said as he turned around

"jacob its fine i jsut wanted to tell you what an aweswome job you did out there" i said holding my hadn out for a hig five. He smiled giving me a high five then we waved as i rolled abckstage with everyone else. My foot was still throbbing but i tried to ignore it. i rolled next to taylor who looked at his watch
"you ned to cahnge your bandages" he said getting my bandgaes
"uhh" i said lifting it up for him
he unwrapped it softly and slowly so i wouldnt be too much in pain.
"its bleeding again" hayley said appearing out of no where
"its fine hayley" i said as taylor patted it down to stop the slight bleeding
"alright i gotta wrap your foot tightly so you might wanna find something firm to hold onto " he said warning me
"alright" i said grabbing a pillow He began the slow and painfilled process of rewrapping my foot as i held onto the pillow tightly. As he went on pulling it tighter and tighter the pain became more and mroe worse. i began t bite the pillow when hayley said
"tay stop shes hurting" in a worried voice
I let go and quitely said "keep going im fine"
as he continuted to wrap it till he finished. i let go of te pillow as my foot throbbed but the pain was less the initically.
"you alright?" hayley asked me
"hayley you worry too mcuh im fine really" i said as she leaned ehr head into my chest
"i jsut hate seeing you in pain" she said a little muffled by my shirt
"theres alot worse thigns that hurt me then a stupid cut hayley." i said as she looked at me a little curious but i quickly changed the suject
'so where to now? the club?" i asked already knownig the asnwer
'ahah not for you" josh said
"yeah ou gotta take them meds then go to bed" taylor said as i frowned then everyone alughed
we got to the bus where taylor picked me up again carrying me to the large couch.
'i think id be easier if i jsut slept here" i said to taylor
'its fine ill take you to your bed rach" taylor said
"naa. id rather stay ehre i dont wanna like have to wake you up to get me out and all the crap" i said as he thought it over
'aklright if you want to" he said
"i think you should stay out ehre with m at least till i fall asleep" i said
"suree" he said then laughed
'what?" i asked
"once you take this medicence youll be knocked out in like 20 minutes" he said
"well lets make it a fun 20 minutes" i said taking a sip of my water to swallow my pills.
i laid down fully on the large couch as taylor sat on teh ground.
"anyroom for me down there?" i asked him
'haha sure but its not too comfortable" he said
"we can put blankets down there itd be better on my leg so i cant like roll off the couch or anything." i said carefull sliding myself down to the floor. he laid a bunch of blankets down as we both slid under the top layer and he surrounded my hurt foot by pillows along with our heads under long pillows.
"thanks taylor your a really awesome friend" i said stroking his face he smiled
"anything for your rach" he said then streche out is arms. I laid ontop of one.
"so finish that thing you were telling me last night about hayley and josh" i said quitely as everyone was playing videogames in the backroom.
"well i mean its nothing big" he said nervously
'jsut tell me" i said
'alright well i mean when ever we go on tour they like suddenly have this whole attraction thing i geuss since were all aorund each other like 24/7 and they end up like hooking up but i mean now your here im sure nothing will happen" tay said
'uhh i think somethign will" i said sadly
"whatcha mean?" he asked
"i could already tell like the first night i walked in on them as tey were about to kiss or theyer faces were jsut really close.. and then there was last night he kept texting hayley so i got outta my bed and as i walked out stepping on the glass,he called hayleys name like he was exspecting to meet her back there not to mention it was 3 am" i said
I saw taylors face shift nervously. Ohh no... this couldnt be good.
