There are a ton of kinky folks and forums and even a kinky social site for those who want/need kink resources... Kinky people are still people, though they are different from each other.

Yeah, exactly! There’s a lot of resources out there, though it takes a bit of work to weed out the “daddy dom”, 50sog type nonsense. But it’s really not terribly hard to find some Wikipedia articles and hop around from there, find some specific terms to search, and then look through blogs and stuff from people who’ve been on the scene / in the lifestyle for a while.

(Though, assuming you mean Fetlife when you say ‘kinky social site’, I’m... not sure I’d necessarily recommend people go there and make accounts just to research stuff, especially if they’re complete newbies like anon seems to be. Occasionally it has interesting and useful discussions, mostly it just has mid-40s creeps looking for young women, and people being desperate - which is a bit Intense for someone who just wants research, and not a dating app style experience. It wouldn’t be my first go to for Kink And BDSM Lifestyle 101 tbh.)

also the privilege of being able to come across as Upper Middle Class because i’m like, well groomed and normal-looking and speak australian english very well. And am thin. and a woman(ish). Like my fat friends and my super MI friends and so on and the goths and whatever. All gonna be read as more likely to do drugs than me, a person who would give my drugs to a random stranger  on the street if they had informed consent.

of course what is less likely to do crime than a white woman who is very fluent in english.

I love you & you’re correct both that my style is very good & that Tan would never need anyone’s help with a problem that could be solved by someone dying. if there’s one thing the girl can do.

anyway it is going well so far, bc I do need someone to proofread anyway and i’m not gonna turn down someone doing so for free. probably good that it’s someone i can’t fire and will never have to see irl!
