This is maybe number of reason why Last Ronin live action is canceled
List
1. They should have started from the begin of story four turtles and master (Hamato Yoshi) Splinter from source material
2. It was to rash decision make last chapter to make R-rated version
3. TMNT has not been good since the 90s live action or 87, 2003 cartoon and animated 2012 after it has only been garbage with franchise
4. They haven't moved on from 87 cartoon in Paramount studios because they still think TMNT is for kids but is actually for adult and it is based on brutal comics.
5. They have not learn from the failers of the franchise after 2012.
6. Modern movies to day are not good why would they think Last Ronin would make diffrent because Paramount only think of money not source material of fans.

My advice for exempel Batman in 90s was not good but later Christopher Nolan made awesome Batman Begins which TMNT coulld go that direction but go to take long time before get there.

If Samurai Jack went from Cartoon Network to Adult Swim than they can the same for TMNT.
Paramount Network it is kinda similar to Adult Swim
