Stepping out of her car, Talia headed towards the marked off area, showing one of the police officers her badge and being let through. She immediately headed towards where the pathologist was, seeing that was already talking to an other officer, one she'd never met. "Detective Mota, and you are?" she introduced herself, holding out a hand to the man after she gave the pathologist a nod and a 'hello'. "Have you been placed on this case too?" she asked. Recently, her partner had been transferred over to another state and Talia had been forced to constantly work with different detectives for each case as they were still looking for a permanent replacement for her partner.
Under the pressure of working over time, Talia found herself speed walking through the middle of town, on the phone with her boss. “Yeah, yeah. Okay. Got it, I’m on my way and the arrest team is heading there now.” she spoke into her phone, nodding frantically as she tried to weave her way through the crowd of people.
