Barely anyone actually headcanons Mulan as a trans man. Most of the time it's just trans men seeing themselves in her, not saying she's trans. The fact that so many people will bring this up as if it's a common occurrence is just an excuse to hate on transmen and honestly it's a microagression to imply that all transmen hate women and headcanon strong female characters as trans men 'just to relate to them'. Stop taking things that happened a handful of times and acting like it's a common occurrence, it is, in fact, harmful.
