So, has this turned into a bait-and-switch? Also, do you plan to stop petsitting in the meantime?
I’m not sure yet. At the very least, I’m not spending money I don’t want to on eating out/fixing someone else’s mistakes.

So much juice and positive vibes! I'm all about the makeup and I love cheap drugstore stuff that is actually good. So let me know if you want any sort of resources.
It’s more that I have nerve problems so my hands shake so much that writing is very difficult and thus trying to do eyeliner is almost impossible. There aren’t a lot of tutorials and resources for disabled people trying to keep up with their abled counterparts in the professional world. :<
Just a little video for my awesome patron @pardonmysass as a little thank you for their support. My harp is out of tune, I will hopefully get to fix that at my first lesson on Wednesday.

Are you at least getting paid for the petsitting?
For the few jobs I do get, yes. But they seem to be 3-4 weeks apart from each other at least. It’s not that much different than if I stayed home.

:-( Oh nooooo! How long did they know before they told you?
I just got the text that his liver is shutting down and they’d try to wait for me to get there tomorrow but if he’s suffering too much through the night they’re going to call Dr. Betsy to the house. T_______T

I feel like I need to explain to you the necessary tools a home owner absolutely has to have. Wire strippers are at the top of the list, Starbuck, right between hammer and screwdriver.
The funny thing is, I do own wire strippers -- they were just packed in with the craft stuff (and all the appropriate pliers, of which I have like, FOUR PAIRS) and I couldn’t find them in the mess of my bedroom :D I think I might know where they are now, but only because I was shifting shit around all morning.
I do have most of the tools needed to own a home, it’s just that I own them from when I was in set construction, so my idea of “homeowner’s tool” versus “artist’s tool” is slightly skewed.

you... didn't open it until now?
I had opened it -- I plugged it in to make sure it had power and opened it to peep inside and make sure it wasn’t like, full of rodents or had a Mysterious Smell or anything. But it didn’t occur to me to “look up” until I was giving it a more thorough going-over before trying to cook something in it.
I did have a few other things on my plate at the moment I acquired it :D And since the movers were going to be the ones shifting it, I set it aside to deal with after the move.
pardonmysass reblogged your photo and added:
Holy crap dude, are you ok???
Oh sure, I’m fine -- I hadn’t cooked any food in it yet, so while I’m sad that I will now indeed have to buy a microwave, at least I noticed BEFORE I tried to heat up a meal!
