She doesn’t want to run track. She’s got such a natural talent for it. My parents made me play sports...softball, volleyball, track, and basketball. I had a natural talent. I said I would NEVER make my children participate in anything they didn’t want to do. Well, I guess my parents were smarter than me after all. I’m certain she doesn’t like us, right now, for making her run. It is my prayer, just as I do now looking back on those years and am so grateful...she will do the same. Is it just me...or do kids expect everything in life "RIGHT NOW"!! My teenager is of the impression we should be able to walk into a business of any kind...Restaurant, hair cut place, doctor etc and there should be NO WAIT, NO LINE and he should be served IMMEDIATELY!!! And of course there is always a wait or line and therefor the complaining and mumbling/grumbling starts. How do help them understand that everyone has to wait?
