☞  Vestor Ashford - the good doctor

        Ashford came from humble beginnings before he rose to eminence in as a psychiatrist in London. Possessed of a sizeable ego and the brilliance to back it up, he did brisk business as one of Rapture's best and brightest before the civil war broke out.  At first glance, Ashford appears to be an honourable pacifist, balking at the use of violence unless necessary. However, his goals are not quite as benign as the good doctor would have everyone believe.

          Heaven, it seems, is made up polished black and the incessant drip of water by your ears. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, Heaven is still a ways off and the polished black is a nice pair of smart shoes on the feet of a man standing by your formerly-limp form. He’s an elf, actually, from the point of his ears and the inhuman grace to his every motion.

          ”No need to thank me yet, chummer. The name’s Kit.” It’s a street name, of course. Nobody but a fool and an idiot would give out their SINner name just like that. He helps you to your feet, holding out a slim hand—also gloved—to assist in righting you from the ground.

          Kit’s accent is hard to place. It’s one of those smooth foreign-sounding ones that’s just out of place enough for you to know it’s not from around here, but vague enough that you’re not quite sure where he’s from. A smile touches his lips, and you can’t help but like him in spite of just having met him. “I solve problems. Just like the one I got you out of.”

          He hands you the weapon you don't even remember dropping. "We’d better be off. I have every interest in keeping you alive, and there’s still the matter of the guards on your tail."

          Did Kit say he wanted you alive? Surely none of those interests are good, but before you can ask, he tilts his head toward the blessedly-unlocked exit door. "Do keep up. Last I checked, the corpsec around here really do ‘shoot first, ask corpses later’.”

He and his older twin sister have the unfortunate quality of sharing the same Raven mentor spirit, and that leads to all sorts of competitive shenanigans whenever the twins butt heads (which is frequently). Between vicious one-upmanship, attempted murder, and everything in between, they have a love-loathing relationship with each other. But they are family, even if they are each other’s own worst enemies.

유 Who was your first muse?

I don’t actually remember (forgive me, for I am old). But, the first character I roleplayed was for a Dungeons & Dragons game in my first year of university. Viera Windstrider, half-elven ranger and dual short-sword wielding extraordinaire. She died at the end of the year in a heroic standoff for the last bastion of good against the demonic hordes of evil, but cry not, for she got a forest named after her when the campaign went on for another three years.

☑ What are the biggest differences between you and your muse?

Isa (26 year old black British male, 6’ 2”, 1950s equivalent of an electrical engineer) VS Susie(23 year old Oriental Canadian female, maybe 5’ 6”, computer scientist).Physical differences aside, he’s a lot more extroverted than I am. He’s the ESFJ to my INFJ.
