came across this NPC in one of the final cutscenes of the game and i'm kinda wondering... is this a paripus/roussainte half blood potentially?

mainly because of the ear color (all other paripus have ears the same color as their hair) but the ears are on top of the head, not the side like roussainte ears

also before you tell me about roussainte ear tips, i have noticed various generic background roussainte NPCs that appear to lack the fluffy ear tips that the notable roussainte characters have (Hulkenberg, Bardon, Glodell, Gideaux, Rudolf and also Myrtus), including this generic roussainte in the same cutscene

y'all, paripus related help (sorta)... can you guys send me photos of paripus NPCs in my tumblr ask/inbox that you believe are not canines or felines (also please include the tail too)? (and also also, don't bring Catherina Grann is a rabbit into this please)

for context: so i've posted about me adding non canine and feline paripus to my Metaphor AU bc i wanted to include more animals for pizzazz. well, i received a comment which they claimed that they spotted a mouse paripus and i was told by someone else in a discord VC about them spotting deer paripus, but i'm not 100% sure about these claims so i'd like to see image proof and i'll try verify these claims with my animal pilled brain

I was playing Metaphor again last night and I noticed this paripus guy appears to have no tail

Does this mean paripus can be born without tails or he lost it unnaturally or something along those lines? (also he does look like a gray Doberman dog but I wanna digress since the Doberman’s iconic look is unnatural)

Two Metaphor headcanons specifically about paripus:

1.) They're fuzzy. Not furry exactly, but covered in a fine soft velvety coat that's not really visible from a distance. Usually it matches their head hair, but if you look closely you might see very subtle patterning on some. That's all on that one, I just think it'd be neat. Anyway,

2.) They often join multiple families into a single unit and raise the kids communally, to the point where a paripus pal might introduce you to several moms and dads of theirs that are just as much their parents as their blood relations. Sometimes they forget which parents actually produced them, because it doesn't really matter. Sometimes they couldn't even tell you which of their siblings are related to them by blood. It serves a twofold purpose: first, it just feels nicer to have a home full of activity and laughter and warmth, and second, it's safer in a society where they have an unfortunately high casualty rate to have a lot of spare parents for the kids

i think the paripus should have fuzzy skin instead of smooth skin. as a treat.

I sketched my dog as a paripus! I definitely based her on Catherina, because she too loves punching and violence, so she’s definitely the brawler class.

I can’t remember the last time I put animal ears on a character but Ira would be a Paripus for sure.
