Instead of the new dogshit Odyssey film you should watch Iphigenia (1977). It’s made by actual Greek people and focuses on a mother-daughter relationship to explore how women are sacrificed by powerful men in times of war. Also the main actress has the face of an angel 🙏 the whole movie is available on YT with English subtitles.

Some of you may have noticed that I'm not at SDCC this year, and that's because I BROKE MY ARM at Anthrocon! After two weeks of trying to figure out how to heal the dang thing (it's fun to navigate the healthcare system) I'm finally on the road to recovery, but I can't draw or drive or go to conventions or do a lot of stuff!

So I put everything I was going to sell at SDCC up on my store site and you can buy them there! Including things I don't normally sell online, like TSHIRTS!

The romance is whatever, there's parts that could be improved and parts that are all around fine but I'm very into the mystery and the lore and the main character

I was talking to the friend who recommended me this book today, while actively reading the second one. We'd gotten around to our various criticisms and I continued reading

And then the twist at the end of the second book came and was so good and so well integrated that I literally looked up at my friend and said, "every single one of my criticisms? Wrong". It was SO satisfying.
