L’hôtel Lambert : une splendeur d’architecture de l’Ile Saint Louis
Cet hôtel particulier du XVIIème siècle situé sur l’île Saint Louis (Paris 4ème) est une création de l’architecte Louis Le Vau, à qui l’on doit entre autres, le château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, une partie du château de Versailles ou encore une partie de la cour carrée du Louvre. L’édifice comporte également la galerie d’Hercule, cycle pictural de Charles Lebrun qui fut restauré au XIXème siècle par… Eugène Delacroix ! Cet édifice que l’on peut admirer du pont Sully est toujours resté une propriété privée.
