Wanna keep track of my sleeptoken wips in one place. These are just little doodles I do when bored in lectures atm (hence the lined paper😭) but I wanna put more effort into finishing them or maybe even recreating them using diff media, so hopefully this will give me more accountability with that

I’m too scared to work on this one more, I like it so far (beside the hand 🫣) and I don’t wanna mess it up

Vessel worshiping sleep (or pleading with him?), no reference for this one but the moon is inspired by the take me back to Eden album cover. Not sure what I want to add to this one but ik I’m not happy leaving it here

Had the privilege of watching them perform at download so only felt right to commemorate the experience somehow, I’m not a fan of drawing landscapes tho it’s very out of my comfort zone and I think the small size of the drawing is adding to that challenge

Was watching Glen Joseph Robinsons video on the interludes and this quote really struck a chord with me

Added thanks to glen for the hand reference, although I can’t lie between my fear of drawing hands and my franticness to get this onto paper it was used very sparingly😅

Inspired by the line “mouth of the wolf and eyes of the lamb”. I want to add blood “dripping from the open mouth” so this hybrid creature looks like it’s “frothing at the maw” okay I promise I’ll stop the quotes now😂

Reference for this is unfortunately a poster directly in my line of site during a boring talk on oats and memories of family dogs growling

This was another piece frantically sketched out while watching II drumming in Paris there was a specific moment that inspired the angle of this piece but I no longer remember if the video was simply paused while I sketched or that moment was seared into my brain and I just paid more attention to the video when I needed clarification on details of the mask.

I want to redo this piece as I visibly was tired and got lazy with the hood, the logo on the mask isn’t right and his drumming is just the work of an Angel that deserves to be done justice.

Things I want to do next include smth inspired by ‘The way that you were’ with a hand sprawled on the floor next to a flower, and a sketch of the newer masks leaving the numeral ambiguous.
