Spending nine nights in the Argentinian capital, Buenos Aires, offered an opportunity to experience the vibrant urban lifestyle this unique city has to offer.

The streets of Palermo are filled with cool restaurants and cafes as well as the occasional fresh fruit and veg market. While Argentina is well known for its steak, a vegetarian can eat happily in this city.

Although the city is densely populated, there is no shortage of communal playgrounds and parklands to enjoy. The city's colonial past is ever present within its streets, where a range of older architectural style buildings sit alongside modern apartment complexes. It is easy to see why people call this city the 'Paris of the South'.
