We know, it’s not September. It won’t be September for a long time. Are you feeling aimless because of a lack of P/T in your life? A little let down by the new year which feels so much like the old year? Are you cold as we enter deepest January and the temperature dips? In the mood for some mushy stuff? We at paris-torres-month have the solution for you: Fever February!
No, we’re not mocking Covid, we’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of 🔥 Blood Fever🔥 one of the top five best Tom & B’Elanna episodes of all time! We’re also celebrating our love for Lisa Klink, the original P/Ter and writer of that episode and several other ones that set our P/T-loving hearts aflame.
How are we celebrating? With prompts for fics & video clips, & daily posts of all the best P/T kisses! Like SeP/Tember we’re inviting every P/Ter to participate. Unlike SeP/Tember, we’ve slimmed down the prompts (less is more), to themed days of the week. Behold, our handy dandy calendar of P/T goodness:
What the heck is a Songfic Sunday, you ask? Easy: Sunday’s theme is ‘songfic’. Write a fic, post a music video, or make a gif based on a song, or a few lines of lyrics, or just stick in some lyrics that you love!
Missing Scene Mondays - pretty obvious, write yourself a P/T missing scene or coda.
Trope Tuesdays - we all know what fanfic tropes are, right?
Wildcard Wednesdays - any fic that doesn’t fit with the rest of the daily themes.
Twisted Trope Thursdays - take your favourite trope & turn it on its head! Hilarity will ensue. (push those two single beds together to make one big one, or have Tom & B’Elanna deliberately & exhaustively try to make a non-surprising pregnancy)
Fixit-It Fridays - is there an episode or scene that you think would benefit from more P/T? Here’s your chance to fix that!
Smutty Saturdays - do I really have to explain this one? 💋 🔥 ♥️
We’ll be posting a sign up sheet so stay tuned. Yes, OF COURSE, you can pick more than one day. Yes, OF COURSE, more than one person can choose the same day! And once again we ask you to treat our favourite couple with loving care: don’t split them up (February is the month of love, after all), don’t kill one off, don’t kill one of their children... you get the idea. Please, no affairs or polyamorous relationships. DO make Tom & B’Elanna the central couple/relationship in your story, and please tag it with #fever february so we can find it and promote it.
