Pike Expedition: Lieutenant Zebulon Pike spotted a mountain peak while near the Colorado foothills of the Rocky Mountains on November 15, 1806. It is later named Pikes Peak in his honor.
Yellowstone Falls, Wyoming, 1983.
Taken on a very quick Spring visit to Yellowstone. After lovely weather in Montana the previous day, we were warned that a snowstorm was on the way and likely to close roads (it did). As we had to get back to Denver two days later, we made a quick circuit of the park, saw none of the geysers, and then made a run for Jackson so as not to be "snowed in."

Another trip to the mountains to look at land for this farm. A great trip despite getting the car stuck for a bit. But that didn't last long. Things look promising this year.
