So today I learnt that if you don't pop enough onto the C box in Whis park the nose of your board will catch and send you flying head first into it and make your face bleed.
Had the sickest day. Got mad air off a 20 ft cornice. Lapped the park for a few hours and nailed a bunch of new tricks. So stoked. Taking the Bataleon up tomorrow for it's first park sesh. That TBT is gonna feel weird...
I did my first 180 board slide and tail press board slide yesterday! Stoke is high.
Hitting the park on skis today...
Skiing in the park must have made me a little braver, I lapped the TG all day throwing 180's and board sliding all the boxes, like a boss. I'm glad spring is here, park every damn day. Need to p-tex my Bataleon...
First day back on skis today.
First run, tried skiing backwards.
Second run, sketchy traverse full of rocks and cliffs to Booterville for a fresh pow run.
Third lap in the park hitting the jumps and boxes.
Not bad for my third day on skis in 5 years.
Today was one of the best days of the season. Lapped the small park for two hours, finally conquered my huge fear of boxes and learnt how to do a backside board slide. Then hit up 7th for a few laps of gnarly tree runs and 180's on the wind lips. Finished off with a sweet run through the big park and owned all those jumps.
Also got free cookies which made my day ;)
