New owners share plans for the Riverside Spar, at Park Boulevard!

The Riverside Spar and Tops, located within Park Boulevard Shopping Centre, is under new ownership by brothers, Tony and Jorge Farinha. Veterans of the Spar family, having purchased their first Spar at North Beach in 2003, the Farinha brothers focus has firmly been set on fresh produce, daily bakery delights, serving only the best butchery cuts, and preparing delicious hot meals. Sourcing much of farm fresh produce from markets personally, they pride themselves in supporting local businesses with 80 percent of their stock sourced close to home. Park Boulevard Mall (Park Bulvar)

Designed by Burrows Little, Park Boulevard Mall (Park Bulvar) located in downtown Baku on the Baku Boulevard National Park, near the Sahil metro station. Incorporates Eastern sensibilities and Western modernism its Park Bulvar is the first shopping center in Baku, Azerbaijan, corresponding to the international level. The official opening of Park Boulevard  Shopping Center took place on June 20, 2010. The opening ceremony was attended by President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva and their family members. On the first and second floors there are cafes and shops where products of famous European and world brands are offered. On the third floor there is a children's entertainment and game corner "Happy Land". On the same floor there are restaurants of Turkish, Russian, Italian, Chinese, Mexican cuisine, as well as the restaurant "Kebab Park", which offers dishes of Azerbaijani cuisine. On the fourth floor there are VIP restaurants, as well as 6 cinema halls that operate in 3D. In addition, there is a bowling center, a photo studio, the Tusi-Bohm planetarium, which is provided for all age categories and has an educational function. The planetarium, with 60 seats, shows animated and documentary films about space. 06.12.15 - Chicago, Illinois - The Chicago Housing Authority just opened 108 new units at Park Boulevard, the mixed income community that sits on the site of the former Stateway Gardens. To highlight the project we talked with a few former Stateway residents and long time working group members to get their thoughts on how the neighborhood has changed since the Plan for Transformation began in the early 2000s. The State Street Corridor, which contained Robert Taylor Homes, Stateway, Dearborn Homes and Harold Ickes Homes, was defined by large public housing high rises. Today, those high rises have come down and development continues to to revitalize the surrounding community of Bronzeville. Neighbors are now talking of how to rebuild the sense of community many felt at Stateway.
